It’s rich and creamy with just enough toasted taste before it gets that gross over cooked taste. This is amazing for goddess dressing, or mixed with some olive oil lemon salt and herbs if you want - awesome for vegggie dip, veggie burger toppings, salad dressing….. soooooo good! I found about this brand from Americas test kitchen actually and I use this to make hummmus , but loved the taste, creamy constancy I branched out and made dressings/ dips with it. Sooooo good. Hope this helps! Review: I've tried many; settled on Baron's - This is the second time I have ordered Baron's tahini. It is excellent, consistent in totally smooth texture, no burdensome messy mixing required. Just spoon it out easily, top of the jar to bottom. I like that it is unsalted, so I can control what amount, and what source, of saltiness goes into various recipes. A tad of Himalayan pink salt lights up this tahini for hummus and some salad dressings, whereas a few drops of fish sauce along with garlic and lemon, etc., makes it a dip for wontons, crab puffs, spring rolls, etc. A "sesame on sesame" spread is another favorite -- toast raw sesame seeds with some sea salt (& black ground- or red-flaked pepper for the not fainthearted). Mix it in equal proportions into the tahini for a crunchy spread on toasted pitas, hot hamburger or veggie patties, etc. Deliciously versatile, dependable high quality and ease of use, as well as competitively priced. I highly recommend it.

Very nice
Very little separation. Great flavor. Smooth texture. Very fresh. Good value for the money. Sealed well. Works great in hummus or in dressings.

Great tasting tahini!
I've ordered this brand previously - happy w. flavor & consistency. Arrived w. no leaks (whew...) Love the flavor for snacking/ dipping (can someone please take these whole wheat crackers away from me?!) ;-) I actually like tahini better than p. butter. I know I know... crazy talk!! But it's delicious on roasted veggies, drizzled over salads w. lemon juice & seasonings, in hummus... delightful! Satisfied w. purchase, will happily buy more when these are gone!

Thinner consistency, full of flavor
This tahini is only slightly thinner in consistency than some other brands after thoroughly mixing the oil and solids (for example, Joyva or Roland) with this product having an edge on the other brands in that it didn't completely separate and is much easier to work with. It has a nice flavor and does not have an overly bitter aftertaste. Upon opening, it has a clean, rich sesame aroma. One of the jars in my order leaked during transport (inner seal leaked). I recommend ordering this item separately from other items that might become ruined by oil. The price is a terrific value, especially for an organic product. Expiration date on my order is well into the future. Jar does not indicate that it needs to be refrigerated after opening. Jar with snap on lid is no better or worse than other products I've used. Will order this again when I need more tahini. tip: when using tahini in a recipe like hummus, 'break' the tahini first with your lemon juice (or other liquid) and mix it really well before adding or processing your other ingredients. It will aid in making a smoother final dish.

A VERY GOOD TAHINI!!
It's so hard to rate the flavor of tahini because tahini by it's very nature is a rather bland food. But with all it's blandness, it is an essential ingredient in hummus and a few other food items. Without it, you simply would not have the dish you started out to make. I have tried my hand at making my own tahini but by the time you get the sesame seeds, roast them, then grind and pulverize them into a paste, it really is not worth all the hassle (hehee, I got to use one of my favorite old hippie words) when you can just buy a quality ready made tahini like this. I love hummus so I buy a lot of tahini. I spent a considerable amount of time looking for that perfect balance of flavor and price. I'm pretty sure now that the search is over. P.S. tahini on rye crisp is a great healthy snack!! Thanks //(~_~)\\ AU
