CLEAR VINYL, BLUE Review: A essential band and record for anyone into emo - American Football by is a classic and an essential band and record for anyone into emo or indie rock. This band is such an important part of early emo, and listening to this album brings back a lot of memories. It’s emotional, understated, and timeless in a way that still feels genuine years later. It’s an album that really works best front to back. The smoke blue vinyl looks incredible, and the pressing quality is very solid. Sound is clean and quiet, letting the guitars and dynamics breathe without noise or issues. Great music and a great-looking, well-made pressing. An easy recommendation for fans and collectors alike. Review: Glad to have bought this record! - Such a fantastic and nostalgic album. The music speaks for myself. I didn’t have any issues with my record. Personally, I don’t really care much about colored vinyl, but this variant came in a beautiful light blue marble-esque design. Plus for the price I think it’s a great album to add to anyone’s collection.

Mediocre at best
After years of listening and watching people jump the band wagon and somehow this band putting on "reunion" shows for the past year or 2 with no new songs. This band is mediocre at best. American football was not the first band to have played this style one of the early pre cursors would be within C-Clamp's debut album and Bob Tiltons final one. They have some okay songs but a lot of the lyrics are cheesy with not much effort given. Despite this band starting as a project the bands single series CD on polyvinyl known as "EP" has more effort in which that release the band clearly should have ended afterwards. But like I said this album isn't so bad but its definitely not the greatest emo album or the first band to do this. Some lyrics kinda wants to make you laugh at how hilarious it can be trying to hard to be emotional. This band just needs to start writing more songs because obviously what they are doing now is not considered a reunion. They are a full time band again and playing the same 13 mediocre songs over and over is just dull. I saw this band once and they were pretty bad during their set. Although I have seen some other sets online and they seem to have done a decent job in the past and between these "reunions" nonetheless this is play but I would consider to aim at greater bands than this

Best sounding pressing I own!
Beautiful color and wonderful pressing. Very bright coloring and I enjoy the marbling although a bit confused as to why they didn’t pick green as the primary color to match the lp art. Overall wonderful pressing for an astounding album

I can’t decide if this cd is breath taking or a fresh of breath air
This album is a special one to me and it really opened my eyes on tempos and ways to use instruments it’s just such a creative and timeless album to me and saying unique is an understatement to how unique this album is, and this was probably the first cd that ever came in the mail without the jewel case having a crack on it or completely broken holder from the inside.

Great album and fantastic band
Great album and fantastic band. This album is a great listen and does not disappoint. Many members from Cap n' Jazz are in this band and they continue most of that sound from Cap n' Jazz in this band. If you are into American Football check out some other band that have a similar sound like Dads, Dad Punchers, Joyce Manor, Owls, Snowing, Tiger Jaws, The One Up Downstairs, The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die, This Town Needs Guns, and Joan of Arc. The members also went on to have a band called Owen. The sound is different and it is much more of a quieter band but is still really great.
