Hey Guys, Bought this. It arrived December 11th, pulled it out of its plastic baggy and threw it in the drawer. I did not have a use for it until today, When I pulled it out of the drawer (NO, IT DID NOT CATCH ON ANYTHING) today, it fell apart when I set it on the countertop. Oy! It's a two pack. The second one has been shipped off already in a holiday gift bundle... oh well!

I bought these for my niece for Christmas because at Thanksgiving, she made me a nervous wreck watching her slice the fresh veggies for dinner. I can't stand watching people handle a knife, so when I saw this product, I had to buy it. Now I just need everyone on TV to get it and use it so I can watch cooking shows without cringing.

I bought the two-pack and one arrived with the metal ring on the back detached. It didn't even look like a spot weld had been done - it was two little dots that had been adhesive or something. I considered keeping both and repairing the broken one, but it's clear that the construction/attachment process is faulty. I knew the other one was going to come loose eventually. It's certainly designed to do what it's supposed to do. The metal shield face is sturdy and would deflect the blade from fingers when cutting food, but the poor attachment of the finger-ring holder makes it unusable and worthless.

These are certainly finger savers when chopping! One of my daughters had to have stitches on a finger when she got too exuberant while chopping! These are good quality and the finger holder can be adjusted to fit your finger.
