Dockers Men's Slim Fit Easy Khaki Pants D1

I love these pants. I've been looking for everyday khakis that can dress up or down, but remain casual, and these fit that exactly. It's hard to find pants that look sharp without having a permanent crease.It's even harder to find pants that don't have tons of extra material or grab somewhere due to the whole "skinny" thing. I am not skinny-I wear a 34-30 in Levi's- and ordered a 36-29 in these and they fit perfectly. Ordering the 29 inseam was perfect as they hit just right without gathering at the ankle. This allows the leg to hang straight and gives a crisp appearance that I like. The 36 waist allows me to wear the slim fit without my 12 pack abs spilling over, and the incredibly soft, brushed cotton feel makes the pants truly comfortable. The only downside I can find is a lack of really nice tone to the new British khaki color. I wish it was a standard British khaki and be deeper and richer. I'd also like to see more color choices.

I recently bought these and they are very nice. The slimmer fit is fashionable and comfortable: unlike some slim-fit pants, they are not too narrow around the leg. They look professional without being too tight. Definitely not your father's Dockers! Some of the reviews mentioned colors not being exactly what was expected but mine were exactly right. I also appreciated not having to hem them, the leg length was exactly right. These are my new favorite chinos and I would definitely buy them again.

Bottom Line: Extremely comfortable fit, round up 1 size if you’re a big guy.These aren’t your dad’s Dockers, which evoke images of baggy, pleated chinos. These pants are incredibly comfortable, more comfortable than my older pair of D1 pants. I’m a bigger guy and these pants aren’t too slim, they have a nice profile and give off a nice silhouette. They have a low to normal rise, which means that they fit at the waist not the rib cage (I love that). I also like the fact that the pants are cut slim through the seat and thigh with a straight leg, not a tapered leg.I wash all my pants/jeans in cold water and dry them hanging off a pants hanger. I did the same when I received these pants and there was nary a wrinkle, which was nice. Anytime I can avoid my steamer is a plus. Keep in mind however that these particular pants do not offer a ‘No Wrinkle’ finish.Why the four star? I had to go a size up from my older D1’s. I’m guessing the Dockers sizing on these pants are slimmer than their ooold stock.

I really like these pants. Will be getting more in different colors. I like the cut, the feel of the material and the flat front. Great fit for us that don't have bubble butts. Can't go wrong for the price in my opinion. What else is great is that after drying them in my dryer on low heat----I don't have to bust out the iron. I have some shirts and pants that look great after I iron them, and I hate ironing! Long live wrinkle free clothing!

Ordered these for my husband as he is 6'5" and very slim and we cannot findpants to fit him locally. They seem to have a large stock of pants for shorter, heavier men and next to nothing for him. These pants fit beautifully and wash up extremely well. They are very well made and I think we will be ordering all of his pants from here from now on.

I purchased the New British Khaki, which is a versatile medium khaki brown color and not gold like some British Khaki. The fabric is lightweight, perfect for summer or mild temps. The workmanship seems good. I ordered my usual size, 36 x 32. The pants did not seem slim to me, although not relaxed/baggy either. They also were rather large around the waist, and this made it hard to get a sense of the fit. I measured the waist at 37.25". Since I am actually a 35, in that no man's land between small 34s and oversized 36s, these didn't work for me. The waist and crotch and seat were all out of proportion. I took measurements to compare them to other pants. Waist: 37.5, Rise: 11.5, Hips: 22 (44), Upper leg opening: 13.5 (27), Lower leg opening: 8.5 (17), Inseam: 31.25, Outseam: 42.5. My Pacific On-the-go Dockers, which fit all right, are also 36 x 32, but they have an actual waist of 36.5, which helps the overall fit for me. Those also have a stiffer, more substantial fabric. I think that this probably helps with the drape, which is so ill-suiting to me in the oversized Easy Khaki D1 slim fits.Since so many of us buy our pants online now, wouldn't it be helpful if the product pages included measurements? And if the method for taking measurements was standardized and explained? There would always be some variation in the way individuals measured, but buying pants wouldn't be as much of a gamble as it is now. And Prime prices could go down if there were fewer returns!

People said the seat seam rips out and the cloth rips soon after they bought them. I just got 2 pair and checked the seat seam. It is one thin thread the whole length. I don't know about these things so I checked all the other older dockers and other brands. They ALL have at least double reinforced stitching in the seat. I think I better keep a spare pair of pants with me when I wear these. The first pair I got I have worn for a week and ALREADY the material is looking frayed. I need to find a different brand. They look good, but the durability is junk!

My husband is incredible picky about his pants. He loves these - we've already bought two more pairs. He was initially pretty skeptical about the slim fit as he has thicker athletic legs, but these gave him plenty of room while upping his style game. I actually think he's wearing them right now...
