I look hard for coarser whole husk phylum. I like it a bit coarser. It’s hard to find phylum fiber that’s not ground into dust. This is not so coarse you can swallow it and not so fine it doesn’t seem like fiber. It’s just right.

I swear to god but this product is the best, you definitely don't need any other fiber after this. This thing work Miracles on me. It literally went to the very hard to reach part of my intestinal tract and root out all the the stuffs that was there since when I was in kindergarten. I don't want to sound gross, but I was on the toilet seat doing my business and I must empathize, whenever is coming out of me it just don't want to stop and it go into a 6 storeys curls. This stuff is da bomb to the digestive system. Its like, it literally sort out the good from the bad in your colon and what's not suppose to be in there it does a RotoRooter strategy on you. Love this stuff and the best part of it. It is 100% sugar free. Nothing artificial in it. Gonna keep buying this stuff

I've been using this product for years. It really does work! Sometimes I get lazy and don't take it regularly and then my movements become irregular. I then get back on and it's all good. The best way I've found to take this is mix it with a little applesauce... I also like to mix in a little apple juice to make it a little tastier! Down the hatch it goes!

I've had IBS for years, and what can I say but that if I remember to take this every day, I turn into someone with almost no IBS symptoms. Vileness, runniness, movement urgency, abdominal discomfort, and irregularity are all significantly reduced. It's like I'm a functioning member of society again! I'm no longer plagued by disgusting farts or getting ambushed by the guerilla sh*ts. I guess the only downside is that choking it down isn't super pleasant. The flavor is a bit... odd, and the mucilaginous consistency does sometimes catch in my throat just a little bit. Mix it with plenty of water, and wash it down with a bit of water as well. Small price to pay for being freed from bowel tyranny and its attendant inconveniences and embarrassment. I like to take a heaping tablespoon first thing in the morning and at night about halfway between dinner and bed. I probably get about 2.5 servings per day.

I have used this product a lot in the past. Have been out for a while so I ordered some more. Kind of like draino for the digestive track without the harsh chemical. Makes ya regular.

I bought this for myself in 2020. Tried it once. Got lazy about taking more of it. I forgot why. Today, it's 2022. The product doesn't seem to expire. It's exactly as it was when i first opened it. Tried to drink an 8oz cup of water with this product. It taste bad. I couldn't finish drinking it. Directions say you can take it with juice. So i think that's what i plan to do next. As for dogs, my dog has trouble going to the bathroom sometimes (hard stools). The vet suggested metamucil. I checked that product on amazon and it's VERY expensive. But the main ingredient of metamucil is psyllium fiber (along with a few more ingredients) But this Yerba Prima is psyllium fiber and it's the only ingredient, 100% more natural. No sugar. The vet suggested i use 1 teaspoon for my dog since she's a small 10 lb dog. sprinkle it over the dogs food. So I used half a teaspoon and sprinkled it over my dogs food. My very picky dog ate the food without a problem. It caused her to go poop. So i think this is an amazing product if you have a dog that has trouble pooping. Just make sure they also drink a bunch of water with it. So not only does this seem to work well for humans, it's great for dogs. And very affordable. I would just suggest you buy some juice(s) to put this into because the taste isn't great, with water at least. I drink mainly water all day, this stuff inside of water makes the water taste bad. Juice should be better.

Psyllium husk can be hard to gag down, that's just the way it is. Metamucil has ruined their formerly good product by adding sugar and orange flavor - and then there's the truly nasty artificially sweetened version - there's no way to make this stuff palatable, just leave it plain. Not to mention ingesting all that sugar/artificial sweetener for "health" reasons.... So I've switched to the Yerba Prima product. Mix it up, gulp it down quickly, done. No aftertaste, no sugar rush, no chemicals - the only way to go.

Love this product, good for keto baking and to put in greek yogurt.

They sent pills as opposed to the psyllium husk advertised. Avoid!!
