Hands-Free Baby Bottle - Anti-Colic Nursing System 9 oz Baby Bottle with Fast Flow Nipple/Teat 3m+ with tube straw feeding system for Toddler (1 Pack - Classic)

I bought this feeding system for my grandson. I was skeptical at first - but WOW! Before using this feeding system he would spit up over 1/2 of what he eat - BUT NO MORE! Great for crib, stroller, car seat, swing, bouncer, etc! As a nurse, I know of course, you are never supposed to lay a baby down with a bottle (it will leak/drip in their mouth while they are sleeping which can cause aspiration pneumonia); however this thing ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT LEAK. Like a straw that an adult would use - you have to suck on it to get anything out! I see that some people are having problems with getting the liquid through the straw into the nipple - HERE IS THE SECRET - put your fingertip over the nipple outlet and then just pinch the bottom of the nipple a few times to "milk" the liquid up where it belongs. Of course, as baby grows or "plays" with the nipple he can let the air in. The solution - if baby is playing with the nipple then he really does not want the bottle in the first place - take it away! In summary - I love this item! No leaks, a significant decrease in "spit-up", baby dry and no leaking bottle mess all over him and the best thing - NO ASPIRATION PNEUMONIA! Get it - you will love it!

I'd like to thank whoever invented this! This is basically a hands-free bottle which has saved our lives when driving in the car with the baby - we just put her in her car seat and give her the Podee bottle and she sucks the milk right up the tube into the nipple. It gave me the freedom of sitting in the front seat instead of holding the bottle for her in the back seat. We also use it outside of the car anywhere we go as it's so much more convenient that holding a bottle up to her face the entire time. We just tuck the bottle to her side in the stroller or I don't mind holding it while I'm holding her as I don't have to raise it up and have my arm hurt from holding it up. The only down side is that milk tends to splash out all over you if the tubing goes flying out of her mouth! The Podee comes with a cap though that you can put on to help stop leaks from the nipple. I really recommend this for parental freedom!

Piece of crap...I got this hoping on my stroller walks or all the driving I do, it would help feeding her when I really didnt have a chance or i would have to pull over or stop to feed. No such luck! This bottle is a piece of crap. First issue-- My daughter could not keep the nipple on her mouth while trying to such. Luckly she is old enough where he learned to hold it on her mouth. (shes 8 months) Second issue-- If the bottle is not elevated she would suck and suck and get nothing but air. The milk would make half way through the tube but would go back down with each suck release. The bottle must be elevated like an IV bag. Third issue-- The nipple is too hard and the hole is weird which makes so much harder for my daughter to suck. I had to suck on it to try to get the milk as close as possible to the nipple. I had trouble myself! I think i can stay here and make a long list why you should not waste your money on this bottle. Maybe the other one that the nipple is like pacifier and the bottle system looks a lot different would be better. But this particular one. NOT WORTH IT!

I really wanted to love this bottle. I have 3 kids 3 and under, with my 3rd being a 6 week old at the time I purchased this bottle. My newborn just happens to rage for a bottle when I'm getting the kids out the door for preschool and daycare, so I can't sit and feed her (she's a slow eater). I ordered this to help me be able to make sure the baby is fed while I simultaneously help my other two kids (3.5 and 1.5 yrs old) get dressed and out the door. Unfortunately, I found that my young infant was not able to suck strong enough to get the formula up the tube. I even tried getting it started for her, but she couldn't keep it going. Also, I could not find different speed nipples for podee, thinking that maybe a faster flow nipple would help her. So I used a similar style nipple from another brand, and while it did look like it helped, it was not enough to help her get the formula up. It wasn't until after I bought this bottle that I found other parent reviews that had the same issue with young infants. I think the bottle and its idea is really great. I will keep trying this bottle with her (right now, I'm just using blankets when I need to hands free feed her) until she finally is strong enough to get the formula up. I gave this product 3 stars b/c I think the concept and idea is great, and I do think this would work wonderfully in a baby who is a little older with a stronger suck than a newborn, but since it hasn't worked for me yet, I couldn't give it more than 3.

After being very skeptical and hessitant to buy this because of the negative reviews I am very glad I took the leap. One of the reasons, and as mentioned by most people on here I did not want to buy this was because I was afraid my baby would keep spitting out the nipple or wouldn't give enough suction to the nipple to drink his milk. This is because he doesn't take a pacifier and every time I tried to give him one he would immediately spit it out. I was wrong, because as long as there was something coming out of it he held on to it. I had no problems with him spitting out the nipple or not being able to drink out of it. Of course there were a few times when the bottle tipped over or he pushed it out accidentially with his hands but I just put it right back in. This is great for if you need to do something quick around the home, or if you're traveling in the car or pushing around a stroller. I know many people on here are talking about using this as a bad parenting fopa. However, this is just to make your life a little easier especially if you have more than one child. Secondly, its not for use 24/7, its for those occasional times when you have little time to spare, or can't stop in the middle of the street for a feeding. The best part is you can purchase the parts seperately to attach with any regular 8 oz. bottle with a standard neck, and change the nipple to your liking. I can also see why the makers claim it helps prevent colic. The nipple that comes with it is a natural flow/slow flow nipple so your baby is not gulping down more than they can handle and it makes them fuller quicker so they are not taking more than they need. My baby is a big feeder and I was always worried I was giving him too much formula, so this helps that. Plus, it will NOT leak while he's drinking it, and he burps immediately afterwards which is a great sign so fingers crossed. For all those who had a problem with assembly, I can personally say it took me less than 30 seconds to put together and take apart with the instructions provided, One larger sized ring attaches to the top with the 6 inch pipe and the smaller ring attaches to the other with the shorter pipe. As far as cleaning goes, its pretty quick surprisingly and you really don't need to clean it out with the pipe cleaner every single feeding unless you see that it needs to. sterilizing it in hot water for a few minutes cleans it out so that it stays clean for a couple of feedings, plus its worth it. I would definitely recommend this for anyone. Note: There is no chocking hazard like with other hands-free bottle holders since your baby isn't directly chugging out of the bottle. They're basically drinking out of a straw and it take some work so they are feeding a little slower.

My 3 month old HATES being in the car. He'll cry and cry and when I try to give him his bottle he'll settle down until I can't tilt back the bottle any further. Then he just loses it. I purchased this because we were going on a road trip (Chicago to Milwaukee) and I wanted him to be able to eat and finish his food. We took this with us and it worked like a charm! I noticed he didn't like sucking and not getting anything right away (he's an instant gratification kind of baby). But, he managed to figure it out and it worked! Drank all his milk and fell asleep. This worked so well for us! It's fairly easy to set up. Pieces all fit,no spills or parts falling off easy. Cleaning takes a little effort but we don't use it everyday so it's not a big deal. The brush it comes with is the right size, cleans the tubes nicely. Also, not a lot of air gets in so he's not a gassy baby afterwards. Haven't had an issue with it yet! The nipple it came with was too big/long for my baby so I switched it out to one he does like and it fit just fine! I'm happy with this purchase because it really helped during our trip. I was skeptical but decided to try this bottle for my 5 month old. When I received it, I put it together and put water in the bottle to test it myself. It actually works. I gave it to my son to try and he took to it immediately. It's actually pretty cool but I won't use it as an every day feeding bottle. Id still like to have the closeness of feeding him myself in my arms :) Our main use will be for when we travel by car for long periods of time Overall I'm pleased with it and its easy for my son to use and I didnt notice him getting a lot of air.

I really hate that I can’t give this a better review, I was incredibly excited to get this bottle. Driving with my daughter in the car is a gamble, if she gets hungry she won’t stop screaming until there is a bottle in her mouth. I’ve had to pull over to feed her countless times, when I saw this I thought it was the answer to my problems. Once it arrived I couldn’t wait to try it, but was quickly disappointed. My daughter tried and tried but was not able to suck anything up the tube. I thought maybe it was just too hard for her, but that was not the case. After a awhile I tried to do it myself and it was impossible. Then on top of that it leaked like crazy. So basically this was a complete waste of money, and a huge let down.
