(The Power to Choose) Review: 3 Year Old Loves The Book And So Do I! - This book is a great way to teach you child about good decisions and bad decisions in a simple way they can understand. When reading we will choose one of the choices and see what happens, then we will go back to the spot where we picked the first choice and then choose the 2nd choice to see what happens - prior to finishing the whole story, just to show how situations change depending on the choices we make. The illustrations are amazing and they help my 3 year old son stay engaged and understand how good decisions make us and others happy, while bad decisions make us and others sad. Great teaching opportunities throughout the book and my son doesn't even realizing he is learning important life skills. I also liked in this book version that some of the choices are neither "good" or "bad," they're just choices. For example the 2 choices presented when Danny is scared to go down the big water slide. It was a great way to show how 2 "neutral" choices can change a situation. I highly recommend this book! I love reading it with my son and talking about the different choices and their consequences. Review: My kids favorite book! Mine too :) - The most educational book around! It teaches your kids to choose wisely in an entertaining way. My kids are so enthusiastic to pick the right choices, and I've noticed an improvement in their behavior since. The book keeps my 4 year old fascinated and my 11 year old interested in reading it over and over again. Highly recommended!

Amazing and fun addition to an amazing and fun series!
Our son LOVES LOVES LOVES these books and his friends are big fans too! This newest book, What Should Danny Do on Vacation?, particularly resonated with us, as the story of being scared to go down the slide at the water park was one we experienced in real life last year. (I think our son will be more willing to try things like this that he's afraid of because he's seen Danny do it and thrive.) He's thrilled to get to make choices that change the story line and then go back and make different choices the next time. Our son has internalized the message that we all have the power to make choices that shape our day and tells us that "he has the superpower to make good choices, just like Danny does." We've seen him putting that into action! He has been getting ready for school quickly in the mornings just to have extra time to read this new book before school and it is the first thing he goes to when he gets home. Wonderful series, great messages, fun to read, and a great gift for any kid. We're a big What Should Danny Do? family and highly recommend this book and this series to others!!!

This is a perfect book for a little boy who is inquisitive and learning to connect his thoughts and actions. I bought it for my 7 yr old grandson and he is consuming it, letting me know all about his “life lessons!l too funny.

Great series that allows kids to choose
I could sing about this book from the rooftops. Not only is it one of the most requested books in our home, I love that it teaches safety and natural consequences. Well done to the authors who have a situation in which Danny, the main character loses his family and needs to ask a safe adult to help him. This was a great conversation starter for our kids if this were to ever happen. We have all three books from this series but I think this one is my favorite. It teaches compassion, making healthy decisions and how to manage emotions. This should be a staple in all elementary school aged kids’ homes. The choices make it fun for the kids as they can make “good or not so good” decisions with how to proceed. Even if they choose the “not so good” choice they can see how a possibly poorer outcome can happen. I can’t say this enough- I highly recommend. I hope for a fourth book of this series!

Can help children with awareness and responsibility of own behaviors
Great book to teach children about the power to choose and how each choice they make has a different outcome or consequence. Can teach awareness and responsibility of own behaviors. What makes these books a hit that in addition to it being a helpful teaching guide is that our kids (6,7,8,11) absolutely love the these books!

My kids love this book!
Loved it so much I bought the other two for my kids (3,4) plus one more of this one as a gift. My kids love reading them. They argue over which way to go but it is fun having a variety all in one book. I also like how when bad choices are made it talks about them and how you can choose to make better ones.

Purchased as a present for my nephew to complete his series of books. I never knew they existed. I love the concept of teaching through consequences by ones choices. I enjoy that the books give the reader the power to make decisions then see the outcomes of those choices both positive or negative. Amazing and well constructed books makes reading fun for kids while learning life lessons. Best part my nephew's name is Danny lol.

Yo compré el de What should Danny do?

We have all 3 "What should Danny do" books and they all are absolutely awesome. Both my kids (aged 8 and 3) love it and love reading them over and over again. Gorgeous illustrations and really nice story lines. The fact that they get to choose the way the story goes is so exciting for both of them. The only disappointment is caused by the fact that there (so far) isnt more of them. Would 100% recommend to anyone with kids.
