Omnigrip by Omnigrid Non-Slip Ruler, 6" x 12"

I bought this for my mom! She said it was easy to use and the perfect size! She loved it and it was well worth the few bucks!

It is a great product and the perfect size for small cuts

This ruler is a must for quilters cutting small pieces of fabric.

I already had a couple smaller Omnigrid rulers, as well as one Omnigrip, and I really liked the multiple markings. I have another brand for my 6.5x24 inch ruler, but it has fewer markings, and does not have any grip. I added some silicone rubber grips and a big suction cup handle to my previous ruler, which helped, but I still prefer this Omnigrip ruler. I use my 6.5x24 inch ruler a lot for larger cuts and always wish I could use the Omnigrid rulers instead since they are far better in my opinion, so I decided to remedy the situation and buy this one (8.5x24). Grip- Although this ruler does have some grip, I'm sure it's still possible that it could move depending on how you use it. I haven't had any issues with it shifting on me so far, and even with the added silicone ruler grips and handle on my older ruler, the Omnigrip still stays in place better with no added support. Markings- I love how many markings are included on this ruler. There are multiple hatch marks all the way down and across the ruler at each 1/8 inch mark, so it's easy to line up the ruler with any measurement, not just 1/2 inch or 1 inch cuts. There are also numbered markings at the top and bottom of the ruler for both 1/2 inch and 1 inch increments that go from right to left and from left to right, making it easy to measure from either side of the ruler and useful for both right handed or left handed individuals. Overall, I really love this ruler so far, and I'm so glad I bought it. I had been hesitant because I wasn't sure I really *needed* another ruler and wondered if it would really make enough difference to be worth it. And at least for me, it's definitely worth it! If I purchase any more rulers in the future, they'll definitely be Omnigrip.

Exactly what I needed! Had to cut144 5” squares and would have lost my mind without this! Quick delivery. Nice thick piece that worked perfectly. Highly recommend

I seemed really nice, and I liked the non-slip backing but I think I sent this one back because it was a warehouse deal and it had a corner shaved off. If it had not been damaged in that way I would have kept is since I do struggle with the squares slipping.

This ruler came in timely fashion and as described. I know I can count on Omnigrip rulers to be accurate, well constructed and easy to read. I’ve been wanting a ruler for quilting that wasn’t as big as my 6x24 but still longer than a 10” layer cake and this fit the bill.
