Fits our morphy Richards iron fine. I'm not sure how long the rubber securing band will last but so far it is okay.

This is a very handy storage shelf for my iron next to my foldable ironing board. I honestly don't know if the plate is heat-proof - I usually let it cool down before placing it on the shelf. I would be concerned about using it with a very hot iron, but I only use it to store the iron once I'm finished with it, so I have a place for it and can close the ironing board. Installation was a little tricky because you have to go through a very long hole for the screws and I couldn't use a pencil to mark the location for the anchors on the wall. I ended up using a paint pen to mark the back side and then pressed it against the wall to get the location where I should drill holes for the anchors. Once installed it is very sturdy and holds the iron easily. You can wrap the cord around the back side so it is out of the way. This was a very good buy for the purpose I needed.

It's hard to tell from a photo - but the quality on this item is good. It's strong and good looking. The jury is still out on how long the rubber restraining band lasts, but it's really just for extra safety - I sometimes don't even use it and the iron stays in place fine.

Perfect mounted on my closet wall, easy to install, a great way to store your iron.
