The metal strap itself is fine, as is the catch. The main issue are the plastic connectors that link the strap to the watch.I've had a couple of times where I've "flexed" my wrist slightly in what I suppose must be an unexpected way (usually while making the bed, for some reason), and immediately had the strap come off one side as one of the connectors has been pulled out of place. When this happens it's a real faff, as the connectors inevitably warp in a way that mean it's hard to either reconnect to the watch with them, or remove them from the strap to replace them... and if you do reconnect them, the strap never quite fits on the watch properly, compounding the issue.They seem to know they have an issue here, as the strap does come with a few sets of spare catches, but I'm already most of the way through them and I've only had the strap a couple of months! I don't think you can even buy replacement connectors separately?This does look the part, and for the price I can't complain too much, it's just a shame that an otherwise really nice product is let down by the connectors. After all, if your strap can't even reliably keep your watch on your arm, what's really the point of it?

I'm pleased with this. The original Huawei strap had caused a skin reaction, so thought I'd give a stainless steel one instead. They are a little fiddly to change over, but the strap came with a tiny screwdriver and some plastic clips (the originals tend to break as you remove them, so it's good they have thought about this) and now that it is on, it looks good and seems very secure. No more itching whilst I wear it now and it does the job well. Very pleased!

Really bad product.I have a Huwaei Band 4 Pro. If you check the original Huwaei Band 4 Pro band then you notice it has white plastic slots where the black pins fit and hold the band.This product does not have those slots. So the band stretches open! Not only it is aesthetically ugly because there is a gap between the band and the watch! The actual band after some point opens and you risk losing your watch!

It's such a shame this is a faulty item, because it is a nice looking strap in silver. There's a bit of the clasp that is meant to flip over (using the small tool) to hold the clasp where you want it so you have the strap at the right length. It would not flip over at all. And even the one time I did manage to get it over, it immediately flipped back when I took the watch off. I didn't want to force it again in case it damaged it. The other issue for me, was that I struggled to get the strap short enough, because the over-lapping bit of strap underneath, would then get caught on the back of the watch. The overall length of the strap was just a couple of cm too long.

I decided to give this metal strap a try because my skin reacts to the silicone straps the band initially comes with, and I didn't really find many alternatives to silicone that I liked. I did like the look of this one though. When I first used the new strap, the clasp wouldn't close properly and when it did it would stick (this problem did eventually resolve itself from use). The main issue I have is with the plastic pins that come with the strap. They are super flimsy and just not fit for purpose. They don't secure the strap to the watch and leave quite a big untidy gap, which has come apart from basic tasks. I really wish I hadn't wasted my money on this product.

I bought this strap because the original silicon strap caused irritation to my skin this strap fits perfectly and looks nice but unfortunately it causes the GPS to be erratic and on a 7km walk I done recently my band 4 pro said I had done 11.5 km when my wife's with the original strap recorded 7km

The watch strap clasp didn't work so couldn't close it to wear. I would not have worn anyway because the color does not match the Huawei watch I have. The gold from the huawei band is kind of a pale gold while this strap is a very strong gold color.Also I could not remove it after I fit it in, I had to break the plastic pins that hold the straps on the fitness band to remove it.

I wasn't sure how this would work but the instructions made it really clear and easy to change the strap. The adjustable size helps and the metal seems good been wearing it for over a month and no issues on my skin and my skin is very sensitive. Will be ordering more in other couolrs.
