All roaches gone! Highly recommended for anyone who has roaches! Can refill old roach hotels with this and put it under the microwave and anywhere else see these creepy crawlers! I love this stuff and I highly recommend to everyone. This is a game changer and we are attached to the neiboring houses and so they get them over there and this totally taken care of both sides on our side. This kills the adults and the baby's and there nests! Great product worked real well! Im so glad got rid of these suckered finally for the new year 2026! Thank you very much!

Combat MAX: As effective as professional fipronil products! Works better than advertised!
Ended up with the beginnings of a roach infestation in my apartment building after a neighbor with roaches moved out. This Combat MAX gel uses the same active ingredient as professional gels (fipronil), which the roaches carry to the next and share with all of their compades, killing the entire nest. I combined this with another product gel that has another active ingredient because fipronil is effective but prone to resistance, and within 48 hours, all visible signs of roaches have disappeared. Fipronil is also very safe to use around pets, as it has been engineered to be nontoxic to nontarget species, so the most that will happen if your pup or cat eats some is a mild sore throat. This is a HUGE tube for the price, almost 4x the size of other options, and it's cheaper, so it's not only a better size, but also a better price for a larger amount! It's light brown in color, almost like peanut butter, so it blends in nicely with neutral color schemes, and it's very easy to clean up, as it hardens and can be flicked off with zero effort. All around a wonderful product for anyone experiencing roaches!

Effective, But Messy to Apply
The Combat Max Roach Killing Gel definitely works—I’ve seen a noticeable reduction in roach activity since I started using it. It’s effective at attracting and killing them, and it starts working fairly quickly. My only complaint is the consistency of the gel. It’s a bit too runny and doesn’t always stay where you place it. It tends to spread or drip, especially on vertical or uneven surfaces, which can make it tricky to use in certain spots. That said, if you’re careful with the application, it’s a powerful product that gets results. Just be prepared for a little cleanup and precision placement.

Please set skepticism aside.
I feel as if it would not be a complete review if I did not tell my history of having roaches. These little demons have been in most houses I've lived in my entire life because my parents don't care about getting rid of them and that is something that everyone in the house needs to be a part of or at least aware of. They were something that I thought was a plague on my life. I literally never went a year without seeing them everywhere. In my lifetime I have tried probably every spray and bug bomb on the general market. Nothing ever worked. The sprays were more than likely ineffective because I couldn't put them as far spread as I needed to due to having pets and asthma. The bug bombs require multiple applications as well as many days to clear before re-entering the house, and I never had a chance to be out of the house for more than a week. I made a huge mistake of taking furniture with me when I moved out of my parents' house, so naturally, the little pests came with me. I considered tenting the house and everyone always told me that gels are useless. After a year and a half of trying spray after spray after bomb of different chemicals that made me sick and I couldn't put in places in need of it because of my pets, I figured... what the heck? I had originally gotten a pack of a small tube of gel and 6 baits of this brand. The difference within a week was pretty outstanding. With just the smaller tube and the baits I went from seeing probably 50+ roaches a day to seeing maybe 10 and had carcasses everywhere. I had only put it in the kitchen, and there were still nests throughout the house. Seeing the difference it made with just the small tube I decided to order the bigger one and some bait strips of the same brand. I put the gel anywhere I couldn't put a strip, that my pets wouldn't get into, and that I could avoid bumping into. I put it under my sink, in the cracks and crevices in the walls and window, on top of the stove (in an area that doesn't get hot, it is flammable, be careful!). I put some strips in the cabinet where I store spices and snacks (always make sure you have every container sealed as best as possible, roaches can squeeze into everything, and you don't want them tracking the bait and the diseases they carry into your food.) I put this stuff virtually everywhere, anywhere that I could and not worry about it. I even put a few of the strips on my living room table and wrapped the areas in foil so the cats can't get into it. I was really determined to get this in any place that roaches might crawl. I highly suggest you do the same. I bought this tube of the gel on May 2nd, and the other packages only a week or 2 before then. I am sitting here on August 6th telling you this.. I have gone from seeing 50+ roaches a day to recently... 1 or 2 a WEEK. Yes, they still are going to be around. They live within the walls, you can't really get 100% rid of them, especially if you live in a 60+ year old house in Florida like I do (or something similar). Even expert exterminators will tell you this if they're being honest. However... I have seen more than a 99% decrease in these little monsters since using this product. I also highly recommend putting out some glue mouse traps in the ares that have the highest traffic. It seems a bit weird, but the glue on the traps acts as a bait because it is roaches' favorite food and they can't resist it. I put some out while using this product and they were filled within a couple of weeks. I replaced them and they're still catching a straggler here and there. I even had times that had eggs hatch on them, so that was a good 20-30 extra roaches that never got the chance to roam free. I whole heartily recommend this product to anyone plagued with these demons as I have been. It has saved what little sanity I have left. I can sleep at night a little better now knowing there's not a swarm of roaches in my house anymore. I am not someone that is trying to get you to waste your money or your time. I did NOT receive a free product in exchange for my review. I am someone that truly wants no one else to go through the hell I went through my entire life with these monsters. I understand that all cases are different. Roaches are amazing little creatures and some have resistances to things that others don't. At the end of the day you really aren't spending much money to get this product and it has more good reviews than it does bad. It's worth at least trying, and hopefully you have amazing results like I did.

Decent
This roach poison is decent overall but nothing special. It does help reduce roach activity over time when used consistently, but it’s not a quick or dramatic fix and won’t completely solve the problem on its own. The product is easy to use, doesn’t have a strong smell, and doesn’t make a mess, which is a plus. I noticed some improvement after placing it, but the results were pretty average compared to similar products. It works well enough for light to moderate issues, but for a serious infestation, you’ll probably need something stronger or combined with other methods.

Combat Max
I didn't have an infestation of roaches but I did have them coming in pretty regularly, always one at a time. I caulked my entire apartment and I still had a problem on my kitchen counter where my microwave was. I had sticky pads down and thankfully I would catch them but since they didn't go back to the nest, they sent another. I had to throw my microwave out in fear that they were inside my machine. I did buy a new microwave and have it on my kitchen table where I've never had a roach, only the corner of my kitchen counter. I bought Combat Max and suddenly no roaches! Although I did find one very tiny one who seemed to bypass the Combat Max but got caught in my sticky pad. So I put a new row of Combat Max and put some where I think the tiny one came from. So far so good. I've seen reviews where people complained at how hard it was to dispense. Keep in mind, it's a paste which is hard to push through. I put the plunger in the palm of my hand and the front between my index finger and my second finger and found it very easy to dispense. UPDATE: Other reviewers complained about it being too hard to dispense. This is true. I had a very difficult time dispensing the contents. The previous tube that I bought was from my local supermarket. That one worked out great. I did notice that the tube from Amazon was alot larger. Perhaps this is the reason for the dispensing issue? I decided to buy another tube from my local supermarket. Not sure what I'm going to do with the one I bought here. The one from here is a much larger tube. I wonder if that has anything to do with dispensing the contents. Either way, I'm very happy to have a product that works so quickly. I will continue to buy it, but from my local supermarket, not from Amazon. For dispensing issues, I'm taking 2 stars away, not because of product. The product is great.
