I welded up a 56 inch by 72 inch steel frame then put wooden privacy fence pickets on it. Then welded two of these hinges on to swing it on. It hasn't moved it probably won't ever move. Unless the earth quakes. I also added an expanded metal viewing window to allow my 120 pound dogs to see what's happening. Did this 6 or 7 months ago it has not moved at all.

Living in Texas and experiencing THE GREAT FREEZE OF 2021 back in February, I bought a generator. Until recently, it has been in my garage and any time I want to work on something, I have to wheel it out of the way. My intention has been to build a shed on the side of my house as it’s permanent home, but I need to be able to secure it so it isn’t stolen. I (over)engineered a steel rack that acts as a shelf for storage (gas cans) but it can also be lifted up and out of the way if I need to move or perform maintenance on the generator. The rack and folding shelf are made from 2” 11 gauge steel tubing welded to two 1/4” steel flat bar “feet” that are anchored to the concrete slab with 1/2” bolts. Needless to say, the hinges need to be able to handle a lot of weight, considering the folding shelf and three or four 5 gallon tanks of gas. Also, the hinge pins are not removable, which would completely defeat the effort to secure the generator if someone could simply pop them out with a screwdriver. I welded everything together over this past weekend and am happy with the results. The hinges are very heavy duty, welded nicely, and helped accomplish exactly what was intended at a very reasonable price!

Welded these heavy duty hinges to an industrial DC motor mount to run my grain mill. Welded one side of the hinges and drilled mounting holes on the other side of the hinge to attach the hinge to the plywood base. The weight of the motor keeps proper tension on the drive belt and it works perfectly. Highly recommend.

I used regular hinges on my folding steps first, which melted when I welded them. These are very thick and sturdy and did resist the heat very well. They are still smooth, even though they get a fair amount of weather. I put Chassis Saver (sold on Amazon) over them to protect them from the weather.

Worked Well….. I would have given them 5 stars My only gripe is there a little to much slop in the them I would like to see them a little tighter were the pin goes down the barrel part of the hinge.

Ordered this and Fedex claimed delivery but nowhere to be found. Seller promptly send another at no extra charge to me. This is wonderful customer service and they should be commended for this. I am very happy with the weldable Hinges and they will do the job without issue. They are sturdy and will last longer than expected. Thank you.

Not much to say. They are very strong. I used them to build a standing platform on a mini skidsteer after I destroyed some lighter duty hinges.
