Works with lithium
Very easy to wire and set up after looking at U tube on programming. Plenty of battery information for such a reasonable price. Highly recommendsmart and accurate

48v Golf Cart. Works great once you get it setup correctly.
Installed on a EZGO 48V golf cart. Install was pretty straightforward. Drilled hole in dash for meter. Diagram was pretty easy to understand, but the initial setup instructions were a little tough. Looks like they used Google translate from Chinese to English. For those who left negative reviews saying the meter wasn't accurate, im curious if they didn't input the correct specs for their batteries. You have to input how many amp hours your batteries are and what voltage the batteries are considered dead in order for the meter to know when they are dead. The meter is very accurate but only if you input the correct battery specs. For example, my 160amp hour 48V batteries should remain above 42V under load or 46V idle. As soon as the meter registers the batteries are below 42V it will automatically jump the gauge to zero percent charge. Or once 160amp hours have been used it will show zero percent charge. Saw some reviews complaining about this. The next issue I had was after recharging the cart, the gauge wouldn't register that the batteries were charging. Turns out you have to move the Negative charger lead from the battery post, to the "P-" post of the shunt in order for the meter to register the batteries are charging.

Works for my needs
This product works well in my setup on my camper battery bank. The directions were easy to follow and installation was straightforward. The battery percent setting and amp readings are accurate. My only gripe is that it was difficult finding wire small enough to fit into the power clamp box and the amp hour reading doesn’t match my battery setup. It assumed I had 100 amp hours and in reality my batty bank is 260 amp hours. Otherwise this works great.

Works well, is accurate, but design could be improved
So many things that could be improved in the design to make it a really good product, but it works at a basic level and works well for what it's specific function. It's already a pricey device, another $5 to cover improved materials and engineering design improvements they could be #1 in the market. But instead - they are just mediocre. It could be designed to fit multiple hole sizes as the meter is commonly used to replace a meter on a lead acid battery installation, i.e., an existing hole. It sucks having to open up a hole to exact specifications. A new case with sleaves an fix all that - not heavy lifting. They used the cheapest tactile switches possible, in electronics product manufacturing. At least upgrade to a self-adhesive rubber button or something - Seal the electronics for an IP rating while your at it, too. I have one button not %100 responsive and I know me - I will break it out of frustration at some point. Etc. So many things i am sure I am missing. And I am sure the manufacture give Zero F s. If they read the comments and took these reviews to the design team, revised their product, I'd buy another one. In conclusion, it works, but in hind sight I would look for a nicer meter or measuring system, since BT it incorporated into most newer LiFePO4 batteries. Great internals - ultra low battery consumption and precision measurements are lost in the quirks and lack of overall quality.

Works great
Install on a gold cart that I converted to lifepo4. Works great.

Works well with my RV setup
Purchased this for my travel trailer to have an accurate estimate of Ampere time 200ah lithium battery percentage. I needed the longer 13' cable because the battery and shunt are inside an exterior weatherproof battery box. Shunt appeared to be of a good quality material. Mounting the readout display inside my trailer was fairly easy by following existing conduit path inside the trailer. Reading the small text included with the mini-manual was difficult and needed to read the instructions a couple of times to get everything dialed in. I followed the instructions in the manual and depleted the battery (using a device similar to "MakerHawk Electronic Load Tester") to set my 0% baseline. I do this will all my new lithium batteries to make sure I'm not getting ripped off. I noticed a lot of youtube videos chose the alternate method easier method of setting up the display unit by charging the battery until full then setting the device to 100%, but I chose not to go that route because I wanted to make sure where my 0% would be so that I wouldn't be stuck with a dead battery while out boon-docking in my travel trailer. Now I feel confident that I can use the trailer to a low percentage without worry. I attached the mini-manual for those interested in seeing what is required to set this up. All in all, I'm very happy with this device and would recommend this to anyone in search of a cost effective battery shunt to estimate battery %.

Do not buy for use with lithium batteries
This product cannot work as advertised. I bought it to replace the battery indicator on my Ryobi electric lawn mower after I switched from lead-acid batteries to LiPo batteries. A battery indicator cannot work on both lead acid and lithium batteries. Same voltage batteries for lithium and lead acid batteries both produce power, but the type of power produced by each is different from the other. Do not buy if you want a battery indicator for lithium batteries. It may work with lead acid batteries but on lithium batteries, it will not provide accurate results. This is the response I got back from the manufacturer after asking about it not producing accurate readings for LiPo batteries: "The BM210 battery tester is mainly used for golf cart YAMAHA,golf cart CLUB CAR,golf cart E2G0, motorcycle, electric cart, lawn mower and soon traditional lead-acid battery equipment, and can also be used for lithium battery power detection in some low-speed electric vehicles. The test results may have certain errors. We will optimize, update and explain on the product page."

Shows amps in and out and can set amount of amps to get state of charge info at a glance. Way more informative than Volt meter especially for lithium Batts.
