Great Flavor without the heat!
This is the only Garam Masala I use and the only one I recommend to friends and family. I use it for making many dishes, from Chicken Makhani to a tasty raita. Many of the Indian grocery stores don't carry Rajah anymore. Fortunately, this bag is a little over 2 pounds, so it can last me awhile!

I’ve always believed that good food is one of life’s greatest pleasures — and for me, flavour is everything. I love experimenting with international dishes, especially when it comes to Indian cuisine, and I’ve been refining my Butter Chicken recipe for a while now (based on the “Get Curried” recipe on YouTube — if you haven’t seen it, it’s brilliant). One of the key ingredients in any good curry is Garam Masala, and I’d run out of my old brand. I started browsing Amazon and came across the “Rajah Spices Garam Masala | Ground Spice Mix.” The reviews were excellent, and when I saw that a 1kg bag was available for such a good price, the decision was easy — I do love a bargain, and I go through a lot of spices! As usual, Prime delivery came through — it arrived the very next day, which I always appreciate. I like to plan my cooking days, and waiting around for deliveries just isn’t my thing. The moment I opened the package, the aroma hit me — warm, rich, and full of depth. You can tell instantly when a spice blend is made from quality ingredients, and this one didn’t disappoint. The balance is spot on — earthy, slightly sweet, and beautifully fragrant — the perfect backbone for curries, marinades, and even soups. I used just a small spoonful in my butter chicken, and it transformed the dish. The flavour lifted everything — it gave that authentic, restaurant-style depth that’s hard to replicate with supermarket brands. The only minor downside is that the bag isn’t resealable, which can make it a bit messy if you’re not careful (that fine spice dust gets everywhere). But I just decanted mine into an airtight jar, and now it’s tidy, fresh, and ready whenever I need it. At 1kg, this will last me a long time — even with how often I cook — and it’s fantastic value for money. You really don’t need much to get a bold, aromatic result. If you’re into Indian cooking or just love experimenting with spices, I’d absolutely recommend Rajah’s Garam Masala. It’s authentic, full of flavour, and far superior to the small tins you find on supermarket shelves. A staple for any kitchen that loves flavour — rich, aromatic, and worth every penny.

Good blend of Garamond Masala. Excellent value for money Compton the smaller supermarket pots.

This is a large pack - perfect for store cupboard. Works out much cheaper to buy this way instead of small jars from the supermarket. It can be stored in smaller containers to keep to hand then keep the bulk bag in your pantry sealed and just top small jars up as required. The flavour is good and it is the perfect basic ingredient for any curry.
