This is the best budget SSD. It is very cheap for a 240 Gb SSD. If you are planning to upgrade your old Toshiba laptop this is best. I was having 500 GB Mechanical HDD, it was very slow to open even my photos. So finally i decided to upgrade my HDD. It was the best decision. Now my boot time is just 15 seconds. compared to my 2 min boot up. All my apps programs work very fast. Even my file copying is increased very fast. It is very easy to fix to my old laptop. And very light weight. I did a fresh install of windows 10 . It work like a charm. SO guys if u r planning to upgrade your laptop, this is the best option.

Had some hesitation initially buying this Kingston A400 480 GB SSD ( 2.5 Inch ). Finally it arrived next day and used in a USB 3 Enclosure. Performs fast at consistent speed of around 105 MBs for large file transfers. Considering the price, this a great performance. The casing is metallic finish and feels good. Will recomend this for people loking for performance at affordable price. There will be more faster drives, but few seconds will not make that great difference. TIP: In USB Enclosure, right click properties - Policies -and enable Disk Caching to improve data transfer. It makes a very big difference. Just remember to click to Safely Remove drive option if this is enabled.

I am using till date and faced no problem at all

I recently chanaged my laptop's HDD disk with the Kingston SDD drive and the startup process has defenitely increased But seems there a slight degradation in the Read/Write Ops. which you can feel while you try to copy the data in between the folders. Otherwise with this price range still a recommendable one.

I have done hundreds of SSD upgrade's over the years. With Kingston you cannot go wrong. I have had zero comebacks.

Buena opcion calidad-precio para dar velocidad a algun equipo que cuente con puerto M.2 sata. Se instala facilmente, no calienta, se pasa el sistema al ssd facilmente con acronis, despues se deja el HDD para almacenamiento de respaldo y listo. Se agradece bastante un SSD aun de los basicos ya que con los HDD son insufribles bajo windows 10.

Great SSD. Not superfast but decent speeds for my needs. I am using it with a drop-in external Sata HDD enclosure. Getting speeds as expected. Build quality is nice. Only thing , cannot find how to register it on Kingston website.

現在の所、２．５ｓATAディスクロジャーにて使用してます。OSの読み込みは、HDDより格段に速く安定してます。Ｒyzen5 3500とマザーに入れ替えるので、M.2スロットルにて使う事に成るために、どの様に成るかは今の所未定。
