MSR Night Glow Zipper Pulls, 2-Pack , Red/White

These zipper pulls are very small cordage. I wish there was a bigger or thicker version, that allows for more sturdy use, in larger size 10 zippers for large canvas tents. However, we went ahead and put them on with a thicker zipper pull in tandem. They glow very brightly after dusk, for a few hours and are pretty handy for clumsy campers, who are first tent timers. We rent tents, and cater to those who cannot afford to travel with their gear. We are always looking for products, to try out, with first time campers, that will make the experience so wonderful they will commit to camping outdoors for a lifetime. That is the only way we are going to save the environment is to familiarize the climate controlled masses, as the environment is very harsh for them, every little convenience helps. Preserving our zippers is the number one issue we have. We love these, and bought a pair for every zipper. They will be good for the window zipps. But for the door zips like I said, the cord is very thin and small, they are more accessories with glow factor. Which is a good thing.

I have a motorcycle jacket that has 11 of these on it. i recognized them and bought more cause they work excellent the jacket has 11 zippers it's amazing H.J.C. And the product glows in the dark very well. The best i've seen

These are by far the most expensive zipper pulls I've come across but their quality is second to none. The glow in the dark pull tips are extremely useful for camping after the sun goes down and they remain "charged" for at least a few hours. The reflective paracord is an excellent feature and improves your visibility in the dark, especially when the glow in the dark pull tabs aren't illuminated. Despite their expense, these are the only zipper pulls I now purchase for my camping equipment and backpacking gear.

I used these to replace the original zipper pulls on a product. These zipper pulls are constructed of sturdy material that should last for years. For me, the glow in the dark part is a nice parlor trick. The zip pulls do glow but the glow fades as you would expect. However, if you really, really want a glow zap them with an LED flashlight and they'll glow. I think if you want to personalize your gear and don't mind the occasional glow then this is a good zipper pull for you.

I bought for my Snugpak Hammock Cocoon. Since it zips up over your face and is completely dark inside, I wanted glow in the dark zipper pulls. These do the job well and keep glowing for quite a while, albeit dimly. However, they are bright enough that you will see them if your eyes have adjusted to darkness. My only complaint is that they are sort of pricey for what they are. For $7 I would like to see 3-4 in the package.

Must haves for night time in the tent! I get up a lot when I camp to use the facilities. These make it easier for me to get in and out of the tent. However you must shine your flashlight on them for a few mins before laying down.

Daylight is not enough to charge these. Unless you plan on firing them up before sundown with a really bright flashlight, save your money. They don't glow one bit after being in daylight all day, the only way I've gotten them to glow is to hold a bright flashlight on each one for 20 minutes before sundown. Not really how I want to spend my time, i wanted them to charge up just from being outside. No bueno.

I have a ton of these and put them on zippers, keys, etc. makes them easy to find in the dark.
