Nora Roberts has shown her skills into understanding the psychology of the abused and the abusers. This book combines her storytelling skills with her amazing insights into abusive relationships both parent and child and husband and wife. Fortunately the ending is a happy one.

Enjoyed the book. Nora Roberts hardly ever disappoints.

Nora Roberts once again takes her trader on an emotional rollercoaster, tackling tough topics such as domestic violence through different characters’ perspectives and personal dramas; it all comes together in her usual romantic way but it never gets old, because while the romance is expected, it’s never served in a predictable fashion. I thoroughly enjoyed this one, despite crying many times as I read it.
