I had a $20 TYR swim backpack for nearly 3 years and I was ready for an upgrade. I am really glad I did. This backpack has lots of space. Smart helmet compartment in the back. 2 large zipper pockets with loads of room in each. Also, I was surprised to find a wet bag inside (I guess I missed that in the initial scan). Love the chest clips and even though it fits so many things it feels like a regular pack, not too bulky. Highly recommend if you want to spend the money.

This backpack has almost everything one could ask for in a backpack. The material is water resistant nylon. It has plenty of room. Zippers open all the way from top to bottom of the main section. Inside, there are plenty of pockets to keep your clothing or other items separated. The front pouch with the hardened cover is made to fit and protect your bike helmet. The roll-up wet sack inside is perfect for wet clothing, or even for keeping your dirty laundry separated if using the backpack as luggage. There is a small zip-close pouch at the top for small things like identification, wallet or snacks. Inside that top pouch is a detachable clip for holding your keys or other small item that can be hooked on. Shoulder straps are wide and well padded, without being overly fat with padding. A chest strap holds the shoulder straps in place and keeps them from slipping from your shoulders. There is a side pocket for a water bottle and a zip closed pocket on the other side that could hold a second water bottle if needed. It has a wide strap across the back that is made to hold the pack securely on the handle of rolling luggage. All zippers appear to be very high quality. Personally, I like all the bright colors of the interior, although some might find them over the top. The only thing missing is a hip strap so that you carry the weight across your hips and not just take it all on your shoulders. This isn't a pack designed for long-range hiking, though, so the hip belt is not completely necessary. It would just add one more capability to the already highly capable pack.

I'm not a triathlete and never will be, but I like to use a backpack when hiking, traveling, attending trade shows, car shows, hobby shows, etc. It's much easier to carry a pack than to drag a carry-on bag or hand-carry a bag through airports or convention halls. And if the pack has convenient features, all the better. This one has only one small zipper pocket on the side and one on the top, where small travel items like medications, gum, eye drops, glasses, etc. might be stowed, along with a mesh pocket on the other side for a water bottle. I'd like another external pocket or two, but I can get by with these, especially since the helmet pocket can carry a lot of overnight needs, show finds, or even a spare pair of shoes. This is a well-made and tough backpack, with really comfortable padded straps, a usable top handle, and plenty of interior pockets for organizing clothes, bathing suit, a laptop or tablet, etc. It also comes with a LARGE waterproof, removable bag for wet clothes or just dirty sox and undies. The stitching is tight and strong, and the dual nylon zippers have bright yellow pulls you can find in the dark. The pack has a wide elastic strap on the lower backside (where it fits against your back) that you can use to slip it over the handle of a wheeled carry-on bag for secure piggyback carry. And it has something I would never buy a backpack that didn't have ... a chest strap to keep the shoulder straps from slipping off your shoulders. Yes, this is a relatively expensive pack, but in this case you're buying quality construction, durability, utility, and thoughtful design. Even if you're not a triathlete, you will get lots of use from it and I know you won't be disappointed. Gotta give it 5 stars.

Honest review here. While this backpack is pricey I find all the uses it has makes it worth it. My favorite feature is the key chain holder in the top pocket. How many times have we all search for keys at the bottom of our bag? This storage pocket with key chain attachment makes them so easy to store and find. But that is only one of many great features. This backpack is light weight, has great light weight water resistant nylon fabric. It's comfortable to wear even when full and is a great size. Fits all my needs for a tri and or just a trip to the beach. Love the wet bag that can be used to separate and store dirty or wet clothing from the rest of the bag. It snaps in and out for convenience. Great for my wetsuit after a swim or my wet towel! It has exterior pockets for water bottles or beverages which is ideal for quick use. Highly recommend.

Can't believe I actually have one these back packs from the triathlon in kona. I am from the big island of Hawaii and watch the triathlon iron man every year which is amazing. I never knew it was possible to purchase this bag until I seen it on Amazon. I didn't know it had a price on it but to me it is well worth it. This bag is just one of a kind from the material to the durability in and out also comes with a dry bag for your wet clothes when going to the beach now I don't need to pack a separate bag for my wet clothes anymore there's a lot to this backpack That I've never seen in any other truly appreciate the workmanship put into this backpack for the price it is well worth it.
