Test Setup - MacBook Pro 10,1 (Retina, Mid 2012) - macOS Mojave 10.14.6 Beta - Paragon NTFS 15.5.53 - Connection : USB 3.0 port General - Preformatted with FAT32 works with Windows and macOS out of the box, although you can format it with whatever format you wish - It has no activity LED. This is a matter of personal preference. PROs - Read / write speeds are consistent across multiple tests and formats. - Capacity and speeds are as advertised even when using the older USB 3.0 standard - Only gets barely warm over long read/write cycles, unlike the Transcend JetFlash 710 which actually gets hot and is normally very warm even at idle. - Perfect size and exterior material doesn’t get in the way even on very thin laptops, but also allows easy install and removal. Fits very snugly in the USB port, but is isn’t hard to remove. The Transcend JetFlash 710’s all aluminum body makes it hard to remove because you can’t get a good grip on it especially if your hands are a little moist. - The keychain loop is streamlined and doesn’t snag your fingers or look awkward when nothing is attached to it CONs - I wish the capacity text on the metal portion was in a thicker font and darker because it blends in with the metal color when direct light is not on it. I plan on purchasing more sizes for different tasks, so I guess I’ll have to label them. Average Speed - Write : 25 MB/s - Read : 210 MB/s Formatted Capacity - FAT32 : 32.06 GB - exFAT : 32.08 GB - NTFS : 31.96 GB - HFS+J : 31.96 GB

Comoda per le dimensione. Errore mio nell'acquisto pensando fosse usb-c ma con hub/adattatore per macbook pro funziona molto bene.

Let me start by saying: I love this little thing. I’ve bought multiple Samsung FIT drives over the years, and the 128GB version is still my favourite. It’s basically a USB drive that looked at all the big chunky ones and said, “No thanks, I’m going to be minimalistic and fabulous.” Why I adore it • It’s ridiculously tiny. As in: “I plugged it in and forgot it existed until I saw it on Amazon again” tiny. Once it’s in, it’s practically invisible — which is exactly what you want when you need storage but hate clutter. • Great capacity. 128GB is more than enough for my files, movies, backups, cat photos, and whatever else I hoard on flash drives. • Solid transfer speeds. Is it the fastest thing on Earth? No. Is it fast enough to move large files without aging a decade? Absolutely. It easily handles everyday transfers and even bigger chunks like 4K videos without groaning. • Samsung reliability. Mine have never corrupted or randomly died. They just… work. Quietly. Forever. Like a USB monk. • Snug, secure fit. Once plugged in, it doesn’t wobble, jiggle, or threaten to yeet itself out of the port if you look at it wrong. Is it safe to leave it plugged in long-term? Yes! That’s literally what it’s designed for. Perfect for: • Cars • Smart TVs • Laptops • Mini PCs • Backup systems It’s so low-profile you can close your laptop without removing it. Is it shockproof / waterproof / dustproof / magnet-proof? Yep — and honestly, I was really surprised about that! Samsung built this tiny thing like they fully expect us to accidentally send it through the wash, drop it in a parking lot, or let a cat bat it under the fridge. To be fair, I wouldn’t go out of my way to test its “survive the apocalypse” claims… but it definitely feels tougher than it has any right to be for something the size of an almond. Water-resistant, shock-resistant, magnet-resistant — basically “life-proof.” Does it have a cap? No, and thank goodness. Caps always disappear into another dimension. The design itself protects the connector. Can I use it for movies in the car or TV shows on my TV? Yes! Works with pretty much anything that accepts USB drives. Playlists, movies, photos — no problem. Is the speed enough for 4K video playback? Streaming from it works fine, and transferring 4K files is quick enough that you won’t scream. Will I lose it because it’s tiny? … Listen, anything is possible. But once you plug it in, if you never remove it, it’s basically impossible to lose… If you move it around, it does have a tiny nook where you can attach a keychain or lanyard. Handy for humans who don’t want to lose things the size of a coin, and you should… or it’s going straight to Narnia. Final verdict A tiny, fast, reliable, “plug it and forget it” USB drive that does exactly what it promises. I love the size, I love the performance, and I love that it’s never once failed me. It’s the perfect little workhorse to expand storage without creating visual clutter — like the USB equivalent of that quiet coworker who gets absolutely everything done and asks for nothing.

I've used a multitude of flash drives in my vehicle in the last few years, but all of them have become corrupted within a matter of weeks or a month. The Samsung MUF-32AB/AM has finally answered my needs: a robust, reliable flash drive that can deliver my MP3 files and withstand the heat and cold of my SUV. It's lasted 4 months so far without a hiccup. It's definitely worth the money, and it's a lot cheaper than a satellite radio subscription.
