I filled these jars with acrylic artist paint from the manufacturer's larger jars. I was working on a 5' X 4' painting and did not want to contaminate the paint by constantly extracting small amounts from them. It worked very well. Being able to mix colors and store them fo such a large painting saved me hours of time.
