This is an excellent solution for those needing a dash warning light. The mounting hardware is decent, but they are suction cups and I have yet to find a suction cup that stays mounted forever. There are also holes for screw-based mounting, should you prefer that. That said, the temperatures here in CO have fluctuated between 85+ degrees and sub-freezing with snow in the last few days, and it's stayed mounted throughout. That's more than can be said of other suction cup mounts I've used. Regarding build quality, it seems to be put together well. There are many of these lights that are cheaper, but every one of them had reviews indicating that the plastic would sag and melt in the sun. There is not a single review for this product that indicated this, which is why I bought it. The mount itself also appears to be built well, and uses rubber in between the plastic housing and metal mounting bracket to hold tension. This is a nice addition and it's good to see that kind of thought put into the design. Installation is easy and the cable is fairly long, but the mount is a little awkward in that it might not quite align where you want it to, due to where the pivot point is located. More on that shortly. The light is quite bright, visible by both daylight and night. You will not have trouble getting someone's attention with it. I prefer the quad-flash alternating pattern as it remains flashing continuously but moves so draws the eye. Because the mount doesn't allow the light to align perfectly to the windshield, there is some light spill into the cab of my truck. To compensate for this, I plan to attach some black, self-adhesive window foam seal to the sides of the window hood (the angled piece of metal) to fill in those gaps as another reviewer has done. The 12 Volt plug and switch are both made well, but the plug also disassembles easily, allowing you to permanently wire it into your electrical should you be so inclined. Just remove a single metal screw, then unscrew a black plastic cap near the center 12 Volt connection, then carefully pull apart the plug housing because the side connectors are somewhat springy. You can use the existing switches if you can find a compatible mounting plate, or you can re-wire it to your own switches or to another compatible light. There are three wires: black, red, and yellow. Black is ground, red is positive, and yellow changes the light pattern when shorted to ground momentarily. If you want to wire it to your own switches, You'll need on/off for power and a momentary switch for the yellow wire. However, you can cap and ignore yellow if you find the pattern you like and set it there because this light remembers your last setting. Although I didn't need the seller (OnlineLEDStore) for anything about this light, they were very helpful regarding a 47" traffic advisor: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LR73Q2S/

I use this product for work as a rear-facing warning light. it is visible in daylight to at least 1/4 mile and cuts through the rear tint in my SUV without dimming. My chief complaints I have about it are 1) the suction cup mounting fell off when we had a 20 degree (F) temperature drop at night, and 2) the housing does not provide for attaching a mount on the back, meaning it is not compatible with most commercial headliner brackets for permanent mounting. with a little ingenuity it is a great light.

Exceptional light, with a well built frame not likely to be damaged by the Florida heat. It weighs in a little heavier but the four suction cups keep it in place on my windshield perfectly. Couldn’t be happier.

When very hot outside, right top suction cup don’t doesn’t hold. Wish could be able to change bulbs when half side burns out.

Little pricey for what you get. Interior use only.
