Great product, especially to upgrade your campsite!
Bought this for a camping trip so we could bring large bottles and have a sink spout right at our site. This was perfect and SO helpful! We were able to wash dishes and fill waterbottles with ease. Fully charged in a hour or so, and we didn't have to charge it again for the entire extra long weekend, so it definitely holds the charge well. There was no noticeable taste or smell, and while it does make some noise, it's minimal and not a big deal. We got through the weekend without issue, and were able to dry it out and put it away with the camping gear for the next one - so I would say it did its job well and was durable enough to make it through a rugged weekend in the woods with a lot of daily use (there were about 15 of us using it for washing/filling multiple times per day). Great purchase overall.

Works good for step 2 water table, poor battery life
Works great with our water table my only complaint is the battery life. Works for 10mins x3 (30 mins) and then needs to be charged after that. Luckily my toddler has a short attention span otherwise I would have to buy something with longer battery life or a second one.

Battery wears out, no support from seller
Purchased in 2023 and stopped working in December 2025 (just under two years). The seller stated the battery had worn out. While that may be expected over time, buyers should be informed upfront that the battery will likely need replacement after about a year. That said, the main reason for this review is the customer service. There was no apology, no empathy, and no follow-up after I requested a replacement pump or battery. Because of the lack of support and communication, I would not recommend this seller. Consider purchasing from someone with better customer service and a clear warranty policy.

Super handy little tool, wish it was USB-C
I use this to pump the water out of the pan underneath my fridge. Hot summer makes it build up alot of condensation down there to the point where it will overflow and this pump has taken out all the effort from fixing that. I've also used it to empty out a toilet before placing in a new one. It's just super useful to have a tiny pump like this around the house. I wish it was USB-C though. My one gripe is that the little nub where the metal hose connects to, can come loose. You can pop it back in but it's got little teeth that seem a bit fragile, so be mindful of that.

Its sooooo good!!! We bought two!!!!
This water pump is pure luxury for us at camp!!! We paired it with an adapter we got on etsy to attach snugly to our scepter water jug to easily dispense water. It works so flawlessly and the convenience was so unmatched - by not having to balance the scepter jug and try to pour the water without it splashing everywhere, that we ended up buying two, just in case one goes out. If you have a scepter and this Mjiya water pump and need this adaptor, we got it on ETSY under : “Scepter Camping & Overland Water can and jug spigot / dispenser pump adapter”

charging wire overheated
Bought this for camping because friends had a similar product and it was way easier and less wasteful than using single serving bottles. Well the first time I tried to charge it using the black charging cord that came with it, the cord felt really hot. I tried it in a different plug to see if the plug had an issue. Still the same. There was no indicator light on the top of the pump while charging, and the wire was super hot. I thought maybe it was warm from being in a hot cabinet in our camper. Let it cool down and tried again. Wire got hot immediately. I unplugged the wire and used a different USB-C wire to charge the pump. Immediately the indicator light on the pump lit to show it was charging, and the wire did NOT heat up this time (my wire, not theirs). This made me super wary. Turns out the pump works just fine. The wire it came with we threw straight into the garbage. It could have caused a fire if it overheated like that and nobody was around. The nozzle on the pump kept falling out when we'd use it. We wouldn't have to bump it very much and it would just fall out. It's pretty loud, which I'm not sure if that is standard for these things or not but worth noting. OVerall, it works, we finally got it to where the nozzle wouldn't fall out every single time, and it does shut itself off after about 48 ounces (about 8 coffee cups, when we fill the coffee carafe). It's ok, I give it 3 out of 5 stars.
