YES, normally, naturally, Wormwood, Artemisia absinthium, does contain Thujone. However, these days, it is always possible that someone has produced a variety that is free of Thujone (this is the correct spelling, BTW). For years the Absinthe liquor was illegal, but now is available again as a thujone-free liquor. How they do that would be of interest. Did they breed the plant to effectively be free of it or is it processed out during its production? Read the label and related adverts and if they say nothing about it being free of Thojune, I would assume it does contain this chemical.
