If you’re looking into buying cast iron cookware then you probably did your research and are familiar with the Lodge brand. This review is just to confirm that it’s genuine lodge cookware, no tricks. It an amazing set comes pre-seasoned and with the proper technique you can prepare your meals like on a non stick cookware without any additional seasoning (there’s many YouTube videos on cooking techniques with cast iron), that being said I did a cycle of seasoning with avocado oil and it’s even better. I use my skillet every day for grilling, frying… you name it… food tastes soo much better. I used to have tefal non stick cookware and was always worried if I scratch it and end up eating the non stick layer but no more. Cast iron does require some extra care, you have to make sure to dry it after cleaning, can’t just dump it in the dishwasher, it is way heavier than normal cookware but overall it’s totally worth it. I’d give this set 10/10

Good quality and the accessories were helpful

Really good purchase. Like the quality and heat retention. Seasoned it a bit and it is doing reasonably well on being non-stick as well. Got this for £66 - so a very good buy. The delivery was quick - adding to an already excellent experience.

I had done a lot of research on which brand was good quality - and Lodge stood out. I'm really pleased with the quality, the supporting material and performance. I got a great deal for the set of 3 cast iron pans and would recommend this for anyone looking for cast iron fry pans.

Tried and tested. An awesome pan. Totally recommend purchase. Value for money. So glad to have finally invested in the right pan. Though it says ready to use but washing and then seasoning it with a good amount of oil after thoroughly heating the pan and then removing excess oil and wiping it dry with a cloth is recommended for easy cooking and not having the food stick to the pan. Food tastes so much better when cooked in cast iron pan in comparison to a non stick cookware. Thank you Lodge for making this awesome cookware.
