Overall? Fantastic. Is the camera on par with camera phones? Heck no. BUT, the printer can print photos taken from your phone, and they print really well, surprisingly well! Honestly, I'm more inclined to snap with my phone and print then and there from the Mini Shot. However, you can't deny the fun of snapping with the camera itself, it may not be anywhere near as sharp but it does have a nice retro feel to the photos. The camera UI is super simple, they have done a great job with it to not cram in features and instead focus on the essentials, border / no border, filters, monochrome etc. I think it is a fantastic product for the price.

As a printer for 2x3" photos from your phone (scrapbooking/reference) it's very good. The refills (ink and paper combo) are readily available and quite not too expensive (about 30p per print or less). I find most prints take about 40 seconds, you can not use any other function while printing. The camera function feels like an after thought. There is no way to store or download images (it's print or delete, thats it). The battery life is very good though.

Oh dear. This seemed like a great gift but....Firstly the picture quality is very very poor. You would have to guess who people are. The biggest problem tho is the printer part keeps jamming. It happened with 2 different cassettes. Just stops with no error message. I sent it back with a photo half out.

This is not your typical instant print camera where the photo prints out in 2-3 seconds and the develops over a number of minutes. This prints each colour layer with the photo card moving in and out of the camera which takes about a minute before the next photo can be taken. Photo quality is great but this is not a good camera option if you need to take photos in rapid succession to capture the moment. Very compact and can be carried easily for travel. Lightweight too. The battery was fully charged before first use but the battery depletes very quickly. After three photos the battery was low and had to be plugged in again. It’s easy to use but given the poor battery life and slow printing, it’s not ideal for a party.

I bought the black and yellow camera for my grandson's 18th birthday gift. He and his friends absolutely loved it! It is great watching the camera producing the photos. Also the in-built screen gives the chance to decide whether to print. The colour quality is excellent and it's good to also have the option to print in black and white. The print cartridges are a great system and good value. The camera itself brings back memories of the original Kodak cameras. I did a lot of research before purchasing and would definitely recommend this camera.

I was so excited to get it. But i was surprised when i received it, both the picture quality and the printing quality are very low. The film got stuck while printing and it stopped working.

Terug gestuurd omdat het niet eenvoudig was om fotopapier te bestellen. De kodak app waarmee je je moest verbinden was niet gemakkelijk te gebruiken. Verbinding maken niet gelukt waardoor je ook geen foto van gsm kon afdrukkenL

Dwukrotnie zamówiłem ten aparat i obydwa egzemplarze były uszkodzone. Pierwszy z nich w ogóle się nie uruchamiał i został wymieniony na nowy, natomiast drugi egzemplarz miał problem z drukowaniem zdjęć - warstwy kolorów nie nakładały się idealnie na siebie, były przesunięte. Aplikacja na telefon w wersji android pozostawia wiele do życzenia.

Llevo utilizando la cámara durante un tiempo, procedo a relatar los pros y contras de esta: Pros: Es una cámara bastante pequeña comparada con la competencia. Imprime fotos con o sin marco y este se puede cambiar de color sin tener que comprar cartuchos especiales. Las fotos son de un tamaño como los de la Polaroid aproximadamente. La foto te sale a 34 céntimos lo cual es una ganga. Permite la impresión de fotos desde tu móvil ya que tiene una app que la puedes conectar a la cámara (esto es muy distintivo al resto). Tiene una batería incorporada capaz de sacar unas 20 fotos. Lo cual está bastante bien sabiendo que los carretes son de 7. Contras: Tiene una pantalla LCD que es una basura pero he de decir a su favor que mantiene la esencia de que no vas a saber muy bien el resultado de la imagen hasta que salga. La batería dura menos si imprimes las fotos desde el móvil sacando unas 10 fotos. Tiene un puerto de carga micro USB. No cuenta con visor por lo que tienes que fiarte de la pantallita. Elegí esta cámara y no a la competencia debido a lo barato que salen los cartuchos, el tamaño de la fotografía y ese formato 2 en 1 pudiendo imprimir fotos del móvil que se quedan olvidadas en el formato digital. Por otro lado decir que no me arrepiento de la compra que hice pero dudaba en comprar la Kodak smile (la compacta) ya que no utiliza cartuchos Kodak. Más que nada por si se va al tacho y luego no hay cartuchos. La otra utiliza papel fotográfico normal solo te tienes q fijar que sea del mismo tamaño y ya. Espero que sea de gran ayuda este comentario y os anime a comprarla. Dentro de un año más o menos hago una actualización.
