Does one pill last 12hrs?

Not for me. My vertigo spells are related to an inner ear problem and when it hits me, it lasts for several days. I find I need to take the pills every 6 hours, or so. They do make me sleepy and I can't do much but the vertigo makes it impossible to function anyway. For milder vertigo or car sickness, I break the pills and take half every 4 to 6 hours. Then I don't get so sleepy.
