This is good thickness for most of my jewelry making needs and overall I am pleased with the strength and "workability" of the wire. I frequently order this Copper wire from Amazon because of its quality and low price. Compared to most craft stores, this is a great deal for 8 yards of wire! I use it mostly for wire wrapping and find that it doesn't break as easily as other 22 gauges that I have used in the past. It is mailable so it can be manipulated very easily but it doesn't kink too much. I love that it comes on a plastic roll (rather than just loose in a bag) as it is much easier to store, helps keep the shape, and stops it from tangling and intertwining. I wish that Amazon offered different colours as add-on items as I would definitely purchase them as well.
