Q: What tool do you use to remove the switch in the Grand Cherokee?

I modified a water heater element tool to remove mine from a jk. As a side note, the Dorman didn’t work and I had to buy a Mopar.

Q: Do you know what the 2 prong electrical connector is called on this part?

If you're referring to the switch side, it would be the socket. The harness side would be the pigtail connector. Not sure if that helps you.

Q: what size wrench do I need to install?

Hello, I believe it takes an 1 1/2" wrench or socket. Hope this helps.

Q: bought this item feb 3 this year and it has already stopped working. Any chance of getting it replaced?

Go on amazon and try to return it,stopped working.Usually parts have some kind of warranty thru the manufacturer.

It worked on my 2013 Jeep Rubicon

U0414 was the code from the scannerI took my chances to buy the part, despite one of the reviews that said it was not gonna work on my vehicle.Switched out with the old one and now my Jeep shifts gears just fine.
