The color quality is good. Sturdy plastic. Does not dent when dropped. I glued them together for a math demonstration.

The children and I love these math tools/toys. They're great for counting in math but great for building too. The children enjoy the texture and colors of them.

My students desperately need to get their hands on tools to better understand how numbers work. Am excited to use these to teach them how to make part to whole models and tape diagrams for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. There are no numbers in the rods, students need to figure that out. It takes away the automatically using memorized facts and forces them to move the blocks around. In each kit was a total value of 270. There are 4 orange (ten), 4 blue (nine), 4 brown (eight), 4 black (seven), 4 teal (six), 4 yellow (five), 6 lavender (four), 10 lt. green (three), 12 red (two), and 22 white (one).

These were pretty good, but two of them were cracked. They still work well for helping with math.

Good quality. Similar to the ones used in school. These are plastic. Original sets were wood. Good for teaching arithmetic, fractions, grouping, sets, etc. My granddaughter likes the set. In fact, I bought her two sets so she and her parents could use them at the same time. Solve problems side by side.

I liked these rods because I am working with my preschool grandson, and he is like a little sponge. He picks up on things that match, and the numbers are less important at this stage than the patterns he can make.

My daughter completed her first year of Montessori and was sent home with some "homework" for the summer to continue practicing her cuisenaire rods. We chose the plastic version for the durability. They are well made and are holding up well so far. We ended up buying three sets so she would have enough to complete larger or more complex problems. So far, three sets is the perfect amount.

I expected this to be a complete set of Cuisenaire rods. Unfortunately, what I received is missing the 4 cm (usually purple) rods. It seems too much of an effort to return these, so I will probably just order an additional set from another vendor and hope that that one is complete. Not having one of the rod dimensions definitely limits the "set"'s utility and is problematic. I would have given this five stars if it were not for that. The foam didn't have a bad smell (sometimes an issue with foam products), the rods came well packaged and arrived very quickly.
