Q: Can alcohol be kept in here without evaporating?

Yes I have left mine half full with 91% IPA FOR 4 months and none has evaporated. To answer another question IPA will not damage the container, in fact most IPA is sold in plastic bottles.

Q: Will this melt if i use it to hold Acetone ?

I don't know about the silicone seal, but the container & lid are made of polypropylene - which is not melted by acetone. I wash small parts in this container using isopropyl alcohol and it works very well.

Q: how many oz in pickle container ?

If you read the posting about the pickel container or even just look at the picture you would see all on your own that it is 47 oz. and before you ask the small one is 25 oz.
