My cake recipe calls for a 12 cup cake pan. Will it hurt to use this pan?

Most Nordic pans are 10 cup. To be on the safe side test your pan with 12 cups of water. If you don't have a 2" expansion from the water to the edge of pan, your cake may over flow. Don't fill pan to full.

Is this dishwasher safe?

"PFOA-free nonstick coating. Oven safe to 400 degrees." "Hand wash with warm, soapy water. Extended soaking is not recommended." What is quoted above is from the manufacturer. I hand wash my bundt pan. I have not and will not use the dishwasher on this pan because I don't know what the dishwasher detergent will do to the non-stick coating and the cast aluminum metal. It does produce really beautiful cakes.

I know the instructions say not to use cooking spray - but has anyone tried this and had it work?

Yes, I do used cooking spray and it works okay. You could used unsalted butter and flour. It also works fine. Try to bake the cake within 50 - 55 minutes. when the cake is baked perfectly it should come out easily.

Es super lindo este molde, su forma es perfecta en el pan. Solo tienes que engrasar muy bien y listo. No tendrás problema para desmontarlo.En cuanto al material es bastante resistente se ve de muy buena calidad.Lo único que le pude encontrar es el tamaño que me pareció un poquito pequeño, pero en realidad el diseño es lo mejor.

Da meine alte Gugelhupf Form bereit für die Tonne war, musste eine Neue her. Nicht günstig, aber ich bin sehr glücklich damit. Eingebuttert und mit Mehl bestäubt, blieb nichts kleben. Kuchen wurde gleichmäßig ausgebacken und das schöne Muster ist super zu sehen.
