Ich mag diese Dosen mit dem Öffnungsring nicht, da man immer scharfe Kanten hat, sowohl am Deckel, als auch an der Dose selber, außerdem bekommt man die Reste schlecht bis gar nicht heraus. Also suchte ich einen Dosenöffner, der auch diese Dosen öffnen kann. Ein weiterer Vorteil wenn man diese Dosen mit Öffner öffnet ist, dass man den Deckel anschließend wieder wunderbar auflegen kann. Nach diversen Fehlkäufen, bin ich mit diesem hier nun sehr zufrieden. Er öffnet spielend leicht auch alle Dosen mit Ring, sogar bei der, der bekannten Nussmarke mit der Alufolie als Abreißdeckel, lässt sich der verbleibende Ring super leicht entfernen. Ich bin begeistert, dass ich endlich einen Dosenöffner gefunden habe, der alle Dosen öffnet und der Griff sich dazu auch mit meiner Arthrose in den Händen noch sehr leicht drehen lässt. Für mich absolute Kaufempfehlung.

This isn't just any can opener its a Kuhn Rikon can opener, which means it doesn't open a can as normal it peels the lid of the way it was put on, meaning that there are no sharp edges, sort of, there are still sharp edges but not that you can cut yourself by accident, its as easy to use as a normal can opener but I get the feeling that this one will actually last for years and that the "teeth" that grip the lid will not wear away and make it slip. All that said I would recommend it to family and friends

This can opener is a replacement for one that I gave to a friend. The can opener is easy to use and works extremely well. The best part is that it makes a smooth can cut that does not risk cutting anyone when touching the lid or the can. The safety aspect is super valuable on its own. The grip is good and is not too small or too big and it has been great for me for years now. I actually think its more durable than my KitchenAid can opener that no longer works! Also, if you like red, its a very nice shade. :)
