Big Mouth Billy Bass The Singing Sensation

Nostalgic buy. Fun to bring the kids in on this and have a good time dancing and singing to the songs. Worth the buy :)

I ordered two of these for my two grandchildren. For both of them, the head would not move when it was required to. It was trying (I could hear the gears grinding inside the fish.) Since I was 0 for 2 on this item, I have to assume it is more than a coincidence; it must be poor quality. I gave it a one star rating because there is no zero star rating. Don't waste your money on these.

Good buy

The sound works great, tail works great. But the head doesn't work. You can see in the video the mouth moving a little bit. C batteries, not AA as stated. Also I got the Christmas edition when I ordered the one that sings Take Me To the River and Don't Worry Be Happy. This is a birthday gift for my daughter and I've searched everywhere for that one with those specific songs (that works). Definitely happy this one works, just disappointed it's not the one I ordered. She'll love it anyway!

I got this as a gag gift for a friend who collects oddities. She loved it, but it has no volume control and is very loud. Recommend either placing it somewhere there isn't much traffic (would make a perfect alarm for people (dogs/cats) getting somewhere they shouldn't be) or be turned off.

got this as a post-christmas cheer up gift for myself and my college roommate. made us very happy and continues to do so in my apartment now. we did turn the auto-sensor off though cause its a fight in the middle of the night and loud enough to wake everyone up.

This was for my nephew's birthday party and when it arrived, the batteries were leaking acid all over the battery compartment and there was rust on everything. One of the springs was also missing inside the battery compartment, so one of the four batteries would not stay in place to complete the circuit. Fortunately my brother-in-law knew how to use a piece of tinfoil to bypass the spring and got it working after much clean-up. I planned to return it - and should have for $80 - but my nephew loved it and wouldn't let it go. The box was a little torn up in places, but that's what I would have expected for 'very good' condition. I didn't expect the product itself to have battery acid all over it. Thank goodness I opened it first to inspect it! Pretty much a waste of money.

As advertised works great. Good price thank you, as new ones seem to have gone sky high. He's happy hanging out on my condo front door in Florida, ready to sing his happy heart out all winter long to the "snow birds" He's great. Dave N

Actually ordered this for someone else as they gave this to someone special for a gift and it really was liked very much. Very cute.

It was broken

Not as pictured - box showed “Take Me To The River” as one of the songs - but that was not what came: just “Don’t Worry” and “I Will Survive” but that was not what we had wanted / expected.
