Great test, highly recommend!
The kit arrived with very clear instructions. I was able to easily follow instructions and swab the interior of my dog’s cheek, wait the 20min and packaged it to send off. It took about 10 days to get to the lab and exactly two weeks to get results once they received the same (even with the holiday). I got the results via email with a complete breakdown of what percentage he is of each breed found, characteristics of the breeds, things to watch out for that the breeds are known to have health issues with and suggestions on how to bond with each type. Overall I found this very helpful, affordable and easy. We were very surprised by the results but knowing the characteristics of each breed it makes perfect sense. I definitely recommend this test. It covers the basics of everything you need and didn’t cost as much as other tests I have seen.

DO NOT BUY! Complete scam
This will be my second review as the company had amazon delete my first review as they apparently didnt want my information to be see. Publicly. Pictured is my dog I had tested. This dog barey weighs 30lbs and is primarily a decker terrier, however we as a family wanted to see if she had any mixes in her and just overall get more info on our adopted pup. Again we already know she is primarily decker terrier, she has the exact size, coloring, eyes, ears. Tail and also the distinct traits deckers have such as forehead wrinkles. Upward swept tail, etc etc. My test was done perfectly, no other dogs in our house so contamination is impossible. We sent the results in the day after Christmas and it took a month exactly to get results. This is where it was very frustrating. We got the results back and like several others have said, they were so far off from our dog it is a physical impossibility that our dog is a mix of any of the breeds listed. Our 30lbs known decker rat terrier came back with 3 breeds, the first two were Lab and Boxer and a mixture of 40-60% each or level 2 on their test meaning she is basically half if each. Both these dog breeds are not only way bigger than what she is in height and weight but have distinct traits that our dog does not have such as boxers short snout and face with a blocky head, long legs, etc. The third breed comes back the only terrier breed found and listed as a trace amount of less than 10%. Oh ok well at least they came up with a terrier right? WRONG! The terrier breed listed was an American Staffordshire Terrier, a 50-80lbs massive dog with a pitbull like head and very thick body. Every single dog listed is over 50lbs, if she was any mixture of those 3 she wouldnt look anything like she does. And would weigh about double what she does. Moving forward I contacted the company through email in which they were prompt to respond initially. I purposely left out the picture on my test as to not skew results after reading the company may do this. In my email to them I supplied the same picture on this review after going back and a few emails regarding the results. The company claimed there is no refunds and the test is accurate. That was until they saw the picture of my Boxer/Lab/Staffordshire mix they claimed. Thats when emails stopped, they havent discussed or responded to my email since asking for a retest to prove the results. Why is this? Because they know their test is a scam, and couldnt possibly come up with those breeds for the dog listed. I would even buy another test if I knew Id be refunded for the false test, but to no avail they stand by their results that my 30lbs decker rat terrier is a Boxer Lab mix. Keep in mind no where on the results were the actual known breed she is, but DNAmydog doesnt care about papers, parent bloodlines or anything, their sham tests trump all the known history of a dog, not to mention common sense. I would question all the results from their lab, especially if you submitted pictures previous to results. Hopefully Amazon lets this review stand and stops supporting companies that are taking money for a product that is obviously not real. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID AND NOT LISTEN TO THESE REVIEWS. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Very happy with my results and fast too
We got a puppy from a friend and we were told that she was a blue healer. Obviously, I did not believe them so I ordered the DNA test. Sure enough no blue healer in her whatsoever she is three different things. The first one I can’t pronounce a gray pennies, maybe a border collie and a Welsh corgi. Not only do you get what your puppy is but you get a rundown as to how to care for them how to feed them what they need how friendly they are etc. I strongly recommend this test. It is the least expensive one so you get what you’re looking for and for me that was trying to figure out what my puppy was. I’m very happy with the results. I’m very pleased with the company. This is the second time I have done DNA on a dog first time with this company, but it was just as good as the first one I did. Very easy to do as well. You just take the little swab that they give you wait for your dog to not have eaten for an hour and then you just stick it in their mouth and rub it on their cheeks. You put it in the envelope and bam that is it you get your results through the email. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask me. If there is a picture that you can see of a red couch with the dog on it that is our Rosie. I think she is also part cat because she loves to perch herself either on the center console of our chairs or on the back of that couch as you can tell That was not in the DNA test so I guess she doesn’t have cat in her OK thank you

We are highly satisfied with our results. Our results said our dog is 47% Border Collie, 27% husky along with other mixes of breeds. This picture doesn't do it justice but the results make sense because she has blue eyes curly fluffy tail and a husky howl. The Border Collie explains her fluffy fur, also blue eyes, and the brindle paws. We did not send in a picture or any details of our dog other than her age. This shows us that the results seem accurate. We also like the additional information send about each breed.

I bought this kit after getting a new dog. I used this kit 16 years ago with my first dog and it was pretty accurate for her. So it was an easy choice to get it again. The test was easy to administer and return for testing. I had zero issues. I did not submit a photo mostly bec I don’t feel it was necessary. That said, every breed listed in my dog I can see except one. The other five I can see and had thought my dog was a combo of. For suspected breed I just put lab mix. But I didn’t say what mix I thought. Turns out his DNA confirmed all five I thought. Highly recommend this test. Not sure on others experience, but both times I’ve used them I’ve had zero issues!
