Drop D2 Wireless Temperature Humidity Data Logger, Orange

I used this on a recent backpacking trip. I had it set to log temps every 10 minutes for the entire weeklong trip. It worked great. Afterwards I was able to download the logged data send use it to graph the temps for the trip. It’s a great way to see what the temps were throughout the course of the trip - especially late at night when it got below freezing.

I ordered two of these units. One was perfect. When I took the second one out of the box it was obviously used and did not work at all. This is poor service to send out an item that was likely returned by someone else and put back into stock without any inspection. I paid for a brand-new monitor, and I expected to receive a brand-new monitor. Try not to do that again with this monitor when you receive the return.

I went through 2 brand new batteries in a week's time, so it socks the power iut of it (even though I changed the settings so that it wasn't reporting data as often). It is also very slow to report info, even though it is near a window AND a router. I basically had to go stand in the coop and hold my Galaxy S10 phone right next to it to get them to connect. Massively disappointed
