Just what I thought it would be. Perfect fit.

Replaced the trunk (boot) and map lights in my 2010 Mazda MX-5 Miata. Noticed a tiny spark when mounting the bulb to the trunk light, thought "oh ____" and sure enough, the vehicle would not start afterwards. Diagnosed that a 15A fuse had been blown, which I replaced in the engine compartment fuse box, dead car problem solved. So be sure to disconnect the trunk fixture from the vehicle electrical system before swapping bulbs. Concerning lighting performance, I found the new LED to be only slightly brighter than the OEM bulb. The lighting temperature (color of the light) was clearly much crisper and whiter, less warm, more pleasing and modern. The current draw is much lower than a filament bulb, but then again, trunk and map light aren't often used. Conclusion: Converting to this bulb is mostly aesthetic, do not expect a huge improvement in lumens output. You can also expect longer service life.

These bulbs are a direct replacement for our deck boat light bulbs. They are bright and easy to install. They arrived on time and in good condition. Highly recommend product and seller.

I needed a 6K White LED bulb to match the new white 6K LEDs I installed in my 1G Scion TC Map Light. The bulb MUST fit in a recessed hole (most PCB-style bulbs are out). This did work, but barely, it stretches the festoon spring mount to maximum to just install it, the spring never retracts after insertion. This bulb has soldered blob ends, not sharp/pointed ends, so it doesn't really seat in the bulb holder correctly, it jams in it. Before you jam it in, this bulb only works when installed in one direction (not the other). So you should either test the bulb in a 12 DC power supply using clips to see it's orientation, then use a multimeter to check the orientation (polarity) of the socket. I didn't do that, because the bulb isn't marked have being polarized on the package! So after I jam/fit it into the socket, I used the switch to turn it on...nothing happened. So I had to use a pick to wrench it out of the socket, then reverse it, then jam it back in a second time. Used the light switch and it worked fine. I put the cover back on and we'll just leave it. It would be nice if the housing was made better with sharp/needle ends (like the original bulb had) so it fit correctly into the relief holder of the spring connectors. Oh well. I'm taking one star off for the fact that they could have put a band or something to mark the polarity of the bulb on the plastic center housing! They also don't really conform to the standard size, the solder blobs at the ends make it oversized, slightly. However, assuming it lasts forever, I'm glad I did it. The color was a perfect match to the other bulbs I installed (YAH!!!) and it runs a lot cooler. I only had my overhead light on for like 45 seconds while I entered the car and got in the backset (two door car) and switched the overhead light to OFF. When I tried to remove the old bulb, it was so hot, that it burned me a little. I then put on a latex glove and with my pocket knife got the old bulb out...but it was still extremely hot for 30 seconds after shut off. This LEDs shouldn't be so hot and I'm not really liking the fact that the factory bulb was that hot against the plastic housing and lens all this time! LEDs should help prevent heat damage to interior lighting pieces. I wish I'd done this sooner, but I waited for LEDs bulb replacements to become a lot more dependable then they were 5 years ago. So now's the time!

The item was in a plastic bag with the part number written on it and was cleverly packed to protect it in shipment. It fit my 2007 Corolla perfectly.

Too large, tho I made it fit. Ends are not tapered like the OEM bulb, so you have to force the contacts further apart if you're trying to replace the dome or map lights. Was nervous about bending the metal contacts so far apart. Meh on the brightness. It's harsh white lighting. Only bought because I keep leaving the interior lights on and running the battery down, but mixed feelings about the quality of the light.
