I love this type of paper to draw on!

Papers are very good suitable for acrylics and watercolors, size and material is perfect.

This is great for painting with oil-based colors (I use oil pastels, oil sticks, and oil paint thinned down with a LOT of Gamsol) and it's been hard to find a non-canvas substrate that doesn't just soak up the gamsol. Even with quite a bit of Gamsol, the Strathmore oil paper did NOT absorb it at all, which is wonderful. These are thick, strudy sheets of paper that don't absorb, so you can work on the surface of them and blend and glaze to your hearts content. They also take colored pencil nicely.

Nice linen-like paper for oil painting, but it tears very easily when using painter's tape on it. It is 350gsm, but I am circumspect about that as it feels lighter than the Archers Oil paper which is 300gsm. Generally though, a fairly good product for its price, but if you want to have borders around your paintings be prepared for some frustration!
