Made a good first aid pack. Good quality for the price

Hubby uses it for work. It’s well made, has a ton of pockets, and isn’t large and bulky. It’s small, but holds a lot. Super sturdy and will last a long time. He loves it.

Let me preface this by saying I really like this bag, its not anything special. I stumbled upon this looking for a medical backpack, and was hoping to find one a bit less than the 100 dollar Voodoo tactical bag I had been eyeing for a while now. When I found one for 25 bucks I just couldn't say no. I'll admit when it first came in I was quite disappointed. This isn't really a "first aid rucksack". This is just a backpack. There is no nylon webbing for securing equipment, there are not even really any internal pockets. On the front compartment theres a mesh pocket, in which I'm keeping 2 Emergency Bandages and 3 isreali bandages, and in the main there is a larger but quite tight mesh pocket, in which im keeping a 36in extra wide SAM, a 9in wrist SAM, and a wrap for splinting. The main compartment in the back opens to be flat, however it's fairly barren. After some fairly heavy modification (velcro tape) I've got 2 small compartments (bp cuff bags) and a small drug box (planko "utility box"). I have actually turned it into, in my opinion, quite a nice set up. In the larger front external pocket, I keep a "boo boo box" with various sized band aids prep pads and some neosporin, about 15 4x4s, 10 pairs of nitrile gloves, and very small white box that has some tincture of benzoin about 8 packages of steri-strips and just butterfly closures. On the outside of that pocket on the MOLLE webbing I keep 2 Recon Medical tourniquets (which I trust every bit as the NAR CATs). The longer but smaller pocket on top is currently empty. The smaller front pocket covers your ABCs. It has 10 pairs of nitrile gloves, a 28fr NPA, a hyfin chest seal twin pack, 6 ABD pads, 2 eye pads, 1 OLAES modular bandage 4", recon medical compressed gauze, NAR S-rolled gauze, flat folded elastic wrap, 6" elastic wrap (flail segments), and a good old ACE bandage, I also keep an extra isreali silicone tourniquet, and 2 space blankets in there, along with the aforementioned ETDs and Israelis. In the large flat compartment I keep the splinting supplies mentioned before in said pocket, and 2 BP cuff bags that are velcroed to the bag and the drug box. Velcroed to the side of the bag on the inside is hand sanitizer. The bottom bag includes diagnostic tools (steth, bp cuff, ect), with the top bag being empty. The drug box has doesnt have anything too crazy in it, just some OTC meds and some glutose. On the very back of the bag is a pocket that goes against your back, and I have a 10x30 trauma pad in it. I also have various things hanging from the sides of the bag. I have removed the shoulder straps, which is easy to do and they can be put back on at will. Overall, I'm not going to lie I would rather have the $100 voodoo bag but for $25 bucks you cant beat it.

Well constructed, but don't expect much more than a small assault pack. I was able to CRAM in the following: 2 Large trauma pads 4 5"x7" ABD pads 30 4"x4" gauze 4 rolled gauze 2 Sam splints 2 Coban 2 ACE bandages 60 Band aids 1 14 piece field surgery set 1 C.A.T (Combat Application Tourniquet) 1 Israeli Gauze 20 Steri-Strips 3 Suture sets 1 pouch of Quick clot 1 Trauma Shear 1 Multi-Tool 1 3 cell Mag-lite 3 Throwing knives hidden 1 4" pocket knife 1 Head Lamp 1 pair Kevlar Tact gloves 15 pr Nitrile Gloves 10 Bio-Hazard Bags 1 Signalling mirror 1 silver shock blanket 4 petroleum gauze in foil 1 1" silk tape 1 3" silk tape 1 duct tape (small roll) 1 Adult Sphyg. 1 Stethascope 1 Laryngascope kit 1 EtCO2 Colormetric 1 finger Pulse Ox 1 ea. 6.0-9.0fr ET tubes 2 Non-Rebreather masks 2 Nasal Cannula 1 King airway 1 Magill forceps 1 Pocket mask 1 handheld suction unit 2 500cc Normal Saline 2 I.V. start packs 2 Saline Locks 2 I.V. Extension sets 1 Dial-a-flow 2 ea 14g - 26g IV caths 2 10 gtts drip sets 1 ea 1cc,3cc,5cc, and 10cc syringes 2 18g needles 3 Epinephrine 1mg 1:10000 5 1:1000 ampules Epinephrine 1 1mg Atropine 1 NaHCo3 AMP 2 Solu-Medrol vials 1 D50 AMP 1 Neo-synephrine (good for small scalp lacs) 2 Benadryl vails 1 400 mcg Dopamine vial 20 800mg IBU 1 Nitro-Bid Pump spray 1 LED signal light (blue) I was able through creative use of webbing to attach a E cylinder of Oxygen to exterior, but this is a dangerous setup. Could put a smaller tank in interior pocket(s) if you really try. There is still room for a IFAP pack on top of Large Exterior Pocket. But, This will be very bulky. I bought this pack thinking it was bigger. Total weight: 20.6lbs

love this bag. Almost 4 years and looks like new. Only just started ripping because it snags in the work van. When it finally dies I will buy another one immediately without a doubt. Highly recommend
