This scoop is hard to find. Love the design of this one than the regular scoops that you find online or in stores. This one allows for a full scoop and then easier release. There is a Teflon coating on the surface so that the ice cream does not quite stick.The operation is fairly easy to use in which the scoop is spring loaded open. You have to have a grip around it to close the scoop, scoop your ice-cream into a nice sphere and then just loosen your grip so that the spring assists in opening to release the scoop.Once done it's easy to clean and would just require running under warm water if not a light sponge. Must have for ice cream night!

I bought one of these many years ago and it’s been the best ice cream scooper I’ve ever had. The finish on the original one was starting to wear, so I went looking for a replacement. This is basically identical to the old one. Outstanding product.

I like this ice cream scoop for the durability and ease of use. The split scoop is the best for scooping ice cream. When scooping the base is closed and to release the ice cream you let the handle open and the ice cream drops out. No more bending spoons, trying to get the ice cream off the scoop and dish washer safe. Overall, I would give this product a five star rating.

This makes scooping ice cream for cones so much easier. It's the second one I've had because after several years the finish begins to wear off but it works so well it's worth it.

Had these growing up and loved them. So of course I had to get a few when I moved out, and they are my go to! The material is super sturdy and makes it much easier to get the ice cream out of the scoop. They work great! I was raised to handwashing them, so I’ve been doing the same. But it’s ice cream, so nothing ever sticks on, and it’s an easy clean. The only unfortunate part is the handle. Sometimes if you’ve got some hard ice cream or something, the handles can hurt a little bit digging into your palm, but just keep dipping it in hot water, and the ice cream should come out easily!

My favorite ice cream scoop

I've had many ice cream scoops in my lifetime, but this one is the best. It glides through the ice cream smoothly and releases very well. It's comfortable to handle and seems too b we built well.
