Love that the right trains do actions with this set, worth the money

Reading the reviews we had the same thing - ordered two and each time the smart tech train that worked with its set stopped as it enters. Turned out we hadn’t read the instructions well enough. Went on the app updated the train and it worked! Really good set and I’m pleased my little boy got to play with this like he wanted.

My 3 year old loves the train wash and repaire - how the train goes backwards and forwards - such a treat. Love the smart tech range.

Only ever worked a couple of times, most of the time the train drives straight through the car wash without stopping, spent more time updating the compatible train for it to only work one more time, frustrating for little ones

Durability

Pay attention when ordering. This item only works with one specific train. I ended up buying the train too which was quite expensive. The train is fine but the station/washer is still disappointing. The instructions are not great your child needs to access an app to use all the functions. Would not have bought it if I had known.

Just doesn't work. Ordered replacement but didn't work either. Tried with 2 different trains. Train just stops straight after the track splits, and then nothing happens. No sounds. No moving.

At first this did nothing and my son just played with it anyway. I just now (a year later) realized it’s supposed to actually wash and maintain your train on the respective sides. If you open up the Brio app there’s an icon in the top right for parents only. Go in there and select “update engine”. Turn on your train so they can connect and it will upload all the new sounds and features to your train. The headlights turn blue and flash for a bit while it loads. Then it’ll go “woohoo” and give you an all done screen and you’re good to go! My four year old is THRILLED that he has new sounds and can watch his train drive it and get serviced. He still prefers to just drive a plain train in there and have his little brio people do the work but I can say 100% it works as it should if you update your train. Also if you have red headlights that means your battery is low and it may not go through all the motions it’s supposed to.

Wie immer bei Brio ist die Qualität super und alles sehr stabil. Das beste daran ist, dass man in der dazugehörigen App die Geräusche verändern kann. Es gibt hierfür voreingestellte Töne oder man bespricht die Dinge neu. Das macht einen riesen Spaß.
