WaterHawk Smart Shower Head: Eco Friendly Water Conservation Rain 6 Inch Shower Head with Real Time Water Usage/Temperature LED Display

This shower head is really great and solved several issues for us. My daughter with autism sometimes has trouble getting the temperature warm enough but not too hot and I was struggling to help just by feeling the temperature with my hand (the shower we have really is finicky that way) and that is why I bought this shower head for the visual temperature information (we have a busy household and to have enough hot water we cannot just turn down the hot water heater to almost vacation just to prevent getting the shower a bit too hot). But we also use a shower filter (see photo) and I didn't know if this was going to work on top of that. But it was no problem at all and installed easily without any tape and no leaking (I always try it without first just because it's more work). I tried it first and immediately I noticed the shower had a really perfect level of softness for what I like, and the information was really good as well and I know I used less water just knowing (I could tell it had good color settings for the temperature and was impressed that this is hydropowered as well). Then my husband tried it and I worried it would be too soft of a feel for him, but he liked it. Then the real test was our daughter trying it and she liked it and it was easy for her to just keep it in the green range. So thank you for solving a problem that has been bothering me for years and giving me an (almost) spa rain shower as a bonus! (This is quite large as far as shower heads go, and I was surprised when I first pulled it out of the amazon box, but then decided it was a great thing) The picture above kind of shows the large size. One of my other concerns was that the size might lead to getting more water in our ears (a big deal for our daughter) but in fact it was less of an issue than the Jonathan adjustable shower head that came with the water filter which was the best we could do until now. I know this is long, but I was hoping this would answer questions anyone might have. I'd say this is worth every penny I paid (I bought one, then immediately ordered another and plan to buy a back up - it's that good!) The only negatives I can even come up with was a tiny bit of a new smell when I opened it which went away in a couple minutes but I'm super picky so most will not notice that (and it's not frustration free packaging but not too hard to open even still and I had no doubt this was a new product). It arrived quickly and I wish I could have bought this many years sooner!

Awesome, money saving product. You can see the temperature and gallons of water used for each shower at a glance. It has been great for getting my family to realize the amount of water they are using in the shower and help us all cut back. It resets the number of gallons after each shower, but somehow amazingly it does not reset if you just turn off the water for a minute or two while you soap up, wash your hair, shave your legs, or whatever. I challenged my four kids to see how few gallons of water they can use and they now understand the economics of “navy showers“! Highly recommend this shower head.

So far so good, as far as construction, seems to be made well. Everything works well, and the LED screen works without issue. Love the fact that the color of the ring changes color based on temperature, so I can look real quick and if I see blue, I know the water is still too cold to get in...lol. It seems to hold the numbers after you turn the water off for a little bit. But if you wait too long, it will erase. I was able to turn the water off and get out of the shower because I needed soap. Walk to the closet, get soap, walk back to the shower and turn the water back on and it started the numbers right where I left off. I'm guessing it stores it for about a minute?? My only complaint is due to the LCD screen in the middle, you don't have any water shooting in the center. So you have water spraying on the perimeter but about a 4 inch gap in the center where no water sprays. Makes it annoying when trying to rinse you hands or face. Would be an easy fix by just angling the center most nozzles inward a bit.

The shower head arrived on time and well packed condition. Installation was breeze, only thing needed was plumber's tape and pipe wrench. Took less than 10 min to install. Apart from its temp and water volume measuring functionality just as a shower head this one is pretty good. Water comes out at very good consistency and temperature. The volume measurement is pretty accurate and a huge plus. Everyone has become very conscious about water they are spending. Noticing significant reduction in water bill.

I bought this to put into my tenant's bathroom. Last month I got my water bill and it said that we were spending an average of 500 gallons daily! They like to take long showers so I partnered this with a waterproof timer to help them keep track of time and water usage. The display lights up perfectly and switches between water temperature and gallons used. Its only 2.0 gpm, so it's only .5 under the mandated amount, I was hoping it would be less but that's alright. I haven't personally used the shower head so I don't know the pressure quality. The shower head has only been on for a week, so I'll update the review once my water bill comes to see if it really made any difference!

The LED screen stopped working after 3 showers. The shower head itself works well enough that I don't plan on replacing it anytime soon. It's just a bummer the LED screen didn't last.

This is a really nice shower head. not going to blow your mind with anything, however the LED on it was nice. It’s nice to have the temperature indicator on there so you know what temp you’re at. Having real time water usage numbers really makes you keep an eye on it and try not to get into the double digit gallons. Worth the buy if you’re on the edge, have had for a few months and still works fine.

The product is great for seeing when the shower is warm to step in to if you want a warm shower. I liked the small amount of light it gives off for early morning showers with the goal of not waking up the family and seeing the amount of water being used. While it worked these features were great. The electronic features stopped working in a little under 2 months and now only serves as a regular shower head.
