beautiful product investment
Ya'll, this lanten arrived more than 9 days than estimated and I was truly greatful.!! It arrived really well packed and it is beautiful! The chrome has no sharp edges! The lanter looks very expensive, i exactl what I wanted. It is lightweight yet well designed and very sturdy. On full, the brightness lights up a whole room, I put mine up high on my bookshelf, but plan to hang it centrally in the room. The insructions are basic, but it is easy to use. It does take ages to recharge fully (and you'll know it full when the green light stops flashing) especially if used on full brightness for many hours, but it's a bomb design and I want to buy the white version as well which has dfferent light features. This is a great invesment, I'm so pleased.

Lovely looking, charges up well and is a great emergency power bank for a phone. Very pleased I bought this.

Exactly as advertised
LOVE LOVE LOVE! I took it camping and it was so cozy and perfect. It's modern yet old fashioned looking and has a variety of lighting options and brightness's, Really cute lantern and honestly if it stopped working would buy another in a heartbeat.

For this price, it's so good I bought another
While it's by no means perfect, at this price it's good enough that I was happy to buy a second one. It's just bright enough, with adjustable colour. At the "red" end of the colour dial, it emits a comforting, warm glow. At full brightness, it's enough to light a small room -- and certainly enough for a tent. At minimum brightness, it's just a kind of background illumination. It charges from a common USB connection and, when fully charged, will power other small devices. It takes a while to charge, but runs for a good while once it is charged. All in all, it's an impressive product at this price. I have a somewhat similar lamp from Littala that cost three hundred quid. The problem, I guess, is that the Litalla lamp has spoiled me. The Litalla is made of solid metal and real glass; it looks like a traditional mantle lamp, and has exactly the same quality of light. Even the control knob is authentic. This product, on the other hand, is only superficially traditional. From the distance it looks the part, but it's made of entirely modern materials. There are a lot of plastic parts -- including the mantle -- and the "wooden" base is actually made of bamboo. The hemp rope hanger looks kind of odd, in fact, and I've replaced mine with paracord, which looks more in keeping with the style of the lamp. There's no doubt that the light weight realized by the use of modern materials is an advantage if you have to carry it around, or hang it from a tent ridge. Still, I have a slight aversion to modern things that try to look like old things. To be fair, my Littala lamp is also carrying off a pretence; but it does it so effectively that it doesn't discomfort me so much. These complaints are just the result of my compulsive fussiness; probably most people will be happy with the looks (and light weight) of the thing. My small, non-fussy complaint is that you can't replace the battery without tools. I understand that earlier models had an accessible battery, and I really can't see how hiding the battery is an improvement. It would be nice to be able to carry spare, charged batteries on trips. It's still possible, but you'd have to carry a screwdriver as well. It's a small complaint, I guess, but petty design errors like this annoy me. All in all, though, I liked it enough to buy another one, so I guess its flaws aren't show-stoppers.

Fantastic
I love these lanterns. I came across one when I hired a tent that had one inside. They’re great for that, but I also find it a lovely way to get nice warm low lighting at home. I particularly like using it when I have a bath, as it’s so much easier than trying to use candles. The warm light is very much like candle light, and you can vary the brightness of it. It takes a long time to charge, but then it goes on providing light for many, many hours. I’ve taken it on trips with me, and the problem of hotel rooms with no nice lighting options is no more. They’re also good to have sitting in the garden at night. I’ve bought some as birthday presents and the people I gave them to have raved about them too.

Lovely little lamp
Bought for my campervan, not bright enough for a reading light but perfect for outside the van and cosy evenings inside, nice warm light look. Battery lasted long enough for a few hours light each evening, a couple of trips to the bathroom at night and charged my iPhone fully twice so ideal for a weekend trip, will be getting a second one soon.

Great appearance and works well
Am so pleased with this lamp that I have just ordered another one. Too old for camping now but it is a really useful lamp just to use around the house or if sitting out in the garden. At it's lowest light level it's great for helping our old dog to see his way around if he wakes up in the night. Overall a very good buy.

Best lantern ever
This light is fantastic! It’s bright but can be dim as well, and it can be changed anywhere between yellow and white (I like the soft yellow tint near the middle personally). The battery lasts for ages! I was in the process of moving and packed it into a box and accidentally turned it on (the power button is quite sensitive), my mom knew it is on as she could see it through the box at night. I didn’t open that box again for 6 days and it was still on. Bought mostly for taking camping with me, but I like putting it on as a small light in my bedroom as well.
