I used this for boosting a digital cable signal for a Vecoax device... the signal was in the 700ish mhz range and it worked great. In the end you should remove all unnecessary splitters and/or couplers if at all possible. Cheap splitters may not even work at the correct freq and they are just passive devices. This is an active device and can boost the signal up to 10x... If in doubt, order 2 of them in case you need a little extra signal on a long run.

I am using it to boost then YOU Broadband RF cable signal before installation my broadband internet connection was very bad and use to get disconnected frequently cable modem hated specifically near the RF cable connector. On installing this product now I get 4 to 5 mbps uplink and downlink speed and no disconnection problem and no cable modem hating problem.

I just bought a new tv (HiSense) with a good picture quality but a weak atsc tuner! the amplifier helps! weak signals are amplified to an acceptable level! (but you need at least a weak signal !!) In my case, it does its job! ..... One year later it is still working and without my Cm3410 fox and NBC are much more weaker... Or not there! In my case it really makes a difference. If there isn't any signal it does not work. The Cm3410 will not create the signal. A weak signal must be present before anything else. Amplifying zero will give zero.

Using it as an indoor pre-amplifier in front of a 4-way splitter. It boosts the signal a bit (without it the TV image is pixelated) but the poor-signal channels are still poor-signal and pixelated most of the time.

This little unit does EXACTLY what it claims it will do. Namely amplify the signal so that it can be received in a far better condition at end point. I have a long cable run between my receiver and two TVs used as secondary viewing platforms. Before installing this I could barely see the picture due to a very weak signal. Now, it's like night and day. 15 db + is a large enhancement and the picture is not distorted or compromised by artifacts from the boosting process. If you have need of something like this, this unit should do the job for you.
