It was so easy to setup and get connected. I haven’t had to use the tech support yet so I really can’t comment on that but so far I’m very pleased with it.

I worked with Mercku and they could not get the M6 to connect properly with Spectrum.

It was easy to setup. WIFI6 is actually great. I had to separate the 2.4 and 5 ghz since I have wireless mesh node from ubiquiti. The ubiquiti works with 2.4 ghz and blast out 5 ghz WIFI 5 while meshed with the mercku.

Received a defective router. Constantly disconnected devices, didn’t matter if router was set to wpa2/wpa3 or wpa2 only. Range was nowhere near advertised 3000sq ft. At the times it managed to work for a little bit speeds were worse than my old router from 2015. Missing advertised features, no toggle to enable ipv6 or auto channel switching on either 2.4 or 5ghz. Who knows when they’ll update the firmware to have these features. App doesn’t have option to turn on firewall, toggle can only be accessed through web portal.

Had this router since last April constantly loses connection I have to restart it at least twice a month...I just upgraded to the eero

I purchased the M6 router. Honestly, I bought this device because it was Wi-Fi 6 and it looked really cool. I wanted to optimize my home network gigabit connection from my ISP. (My older router was bottle necking the speed I pay for). Got my new M6 router. Set it up and voila! The speed tests were registering FULL speed internet. I was elated. However, when I went to go use my wife connected devices (like my phone, computer, and streaming box) the latency was so painfully frustrating. Literally waiting 20 seconds or more for simple web searches to load. When I turn off my wifi - BOOM web search loads instantly. Connect back to Mercku M6 - no dice. I’ve updated firm ware, Factory reset the device. Shut off smart connect, changed channels. None of it works. Majorly disappointed in something I feel (at this caliber) should work straight out of the box. (And I’m quite tech savvy) Also noticing the same complaints on Reddit. Sorry Mercku. I really wanted this to be something I can rave about to friends and guests. May try Netgear instead.
