Columbia Sportswear Men's Evapouration Jacket

I will probably upgrade my rating to 5 stars if it performs as well as it looks like it will, and like other people say it has for them. I bought this jacket for a trip to Brazil where it will likely rain most afternoons or evenings, and will also be fairly warm. I listened to the other reviewers on here and ordered a size smaller than I usually wear and the jacket fits perfectly.

It's fine for low- to medium levels of activity, and light to medium rain. But it wets out after maybe an hour, and if you're doing any amount of excercise you'll end up wet from sweat anyway.. Would not recommend for hiking or other extended activities. I took it on a two-day and even though it was just light rain I ended up soaked from sweat and rain, even with the pit zips completely open. Not breathable at all.

Really nice for hiking. Light weight, great fit, and good quality too. Doesn't make you too hot when you are moving around a lot but the weather is too cool to not wear a jacket. I would recommend this jacket and the price was very reasonable. I tried a generic brand last year but the zipper ripped from the jacket after only a few uses, so you get what you pay for, as they say.
