500 W ok, it uses a lot of power, but how many lumens does it put out- that is the most important aspect of a light?

I didn’t want to ignore your question, i honestly don’t remember. We used it for a few months. Then ended up replastering & redesigning your pool and replaced the light with a changing colored bulb. Sorry I’m not much help.

How long does this pool light last? one review says it lasted just over 1yr. we bought ours last june '20 & this june '21, it's out! is this typical?

That is about right. Mine last about 11 months with moderate use.

Let there be light!

We were glad to have our pool light back on! The biggest part of changing the bulb is lowering the pool water! Once the level is low enough the bulb can be changed. Of course it’s important to be sure the bulb is safely sealed behind glass and then there will be light!

Perferct and very bright for a 45X25X12 pool

Lights up a 45X25X12 pool. The shallow end is not as bight as the deep end but when you are in the pool there is more than enough light. I am very happy with this product and I hope it lasts a very long time. We do very little night swimming but when we do this light makes the pool look amazing.
