Compré pensando que era el libro... Pero no es, fue error mío, porque dice que es un diario.. no puse atención. Pero fue una buena sorpresa. Es un diario que te hace preguntas muy personales, que he hace pensar mucho sobre tu historia, y es bastante terapéutico. Es básicamente una manera de escribir su historia of "becoming" . Me gustó y ya estoy escribiendo. Ahora tengo que encontrar el libro jeje

I'm a writer and enjoy using writing prompts as warm-ups, so I've been through dozens of these types of books.I really like that Mrs. Obama provided plenty of space to write so I can make this a dedicated, purposeful, keepsake journal instead of just a prompt idea book.She thoughtfully has a cover wrap showing her picture, blurb, ISBN, etc. It pops right off so you're left with a lovely hardbound book which is about YOU rather than her.The prompts are thoughtfully mixed, so you don't get stuck in a rut of ten in a row which are deeply introspective. There's pacing, so you'll have a few which are quite poignant, followed by something light like making a list of your favorite vegetables, followed by a lovey question about your grandmother or favorite music. I enjoyed the variety.I think you could approach this journal in one of two ways. You could self-edit as you write and pass the resulting book down to your children and grandchildren. Or, you could use this as a therapeutic workbook for getting through a rut in your life and then burn it. Your choice.I'm also pleased by the pricing. The books were $9 each and buy 2, get one free when I made my purchase. I'll give several as gifts.

Purchased as a Christmas 2019 gift for a sister. It comes wrapped in plastic, easy to wrap.A guided journal will help to find your voice and purpose based on 2018's number-one bestselling book, Michelle Obama's memoirs. I highly enjoyed reading her memoirs and this journal will be a nice gift for those who either did or did not read the autobiography.

the description of this book made me think it was Michelle Obama's book. Il is NOT. it is just a blank-page journal based on some of her comments.

Received the book and it was a really old stock. Cover is discolored and u can see the Color difference fr under the book cover and the other parts which are not covered. Was buying as a gift and a disappointment. Such stock should not even be sent to a customer. Didn’t bother sending it back. Bought another gift for a friend instead
