Touch Up Enamel

The Jenolite was easy to use and covered all the rust patches in my microwave. So far all is well.

Only giving 4 stars as it's very clearly bright white..easy to use and not that smelly..but it's just very bright..it covers very well.it dries in 24 hours and it's just like using tippex..

I looked at various products, some had silly long dry times. I've used Jeonlite automotive products before and found them to be good. However this stuff is so thick it leaves strings when you lift a brush out of it...and don't think about using the brush in the lid if you want half decent results...use something a modeler would use. I couldn't find any instructions that go with this product... So clean the chip out (assuming a fiberglass bath) so no soap residue. Thin down the paint (slightly!) with a spot of cellulose thinners. Fill the chip with paint so it fills the chip but does not overspill. Allow to dry for a few minutes until the paint is 'dry'ish' to touch (but not properly gone off). Quickly wipe with a clean cloth with a spot of cellulose thinners (but not much). Cellulose thinners is pretty powerful wear gloves and minimise contact with bath. Use the thinners to take the top off the bump of paint so its smooth BUT be carful not to wipe the paint back out of the chip...after all that you realise the paint it too white! SO, don't bother use Humbr0l enamel paint as its thinner, cheaper and comes in loads of shades of white to better colour match.
