This is a greatest beard wax. Really good fragrance and doesn't make beard stiff.

Good stuff! Have been using it for years. It holds your beard in place for the most part when used correctly. I use the original scent which smells great with a touch of sandalwood. You only need a small amount per inch of hair so it’s easy to use & makes it a great value. Washes out simply with soap and water

Great beard wax! I love it. I have used a few other balms and waxes and couldn't decide if I wanted to go with the balm or wax from Badass. I'm so glad I decided to go with the wax! This is exactly the hold I was looking for. It keeps your beards shape all day long but still leaves it flexible. It has a light smell, kinda like petroleum jelly or something but it is very easily covered up with any scented beard oil. I don't have a hard time getting it out of the tin and it melts very easily and evenly in your hand. I have about a 2.5" beard that needs some shaping. Highly recommended! I will definitely buy again!

This stuff works great for me. However I wish they wouldn't price all of these the same, making it so they have to skimp on the Sandalwood which you can barely smell if at all depending on your senses being acute or not. I almost gave it 3 stars but the stuff really does work well and the smell is not offensive at all and is light. Mostly you just smell vanilla. I would gladly pay 5$ to 10$ more for a heavier level of sandalwood. I have worked in health food stores for years and I am aware of the extremely high price of sandalwood oil. It would be nice if they marketed a more expensive one that really smelled of sandalwood. Because it would probably be the only thing on the market like that, that is not synthetic. And I am sure there is a large enough group of people to spend the money on something truly authentic like this. Four stars for the lack of sandalwood being present. I also have Honest Amish Beard Wax. These to me are both quite similar in hold for my beard. I will be trying other Badass Beard Wax scents out. I do hope someday maybe they will up the ante on a sandalwood version. Update 5/12/18 - Upon further use of this and Amish Beard Wax, I do notice that the Amish one is more dense and does have a little better hold. However I still use both.

Great wax and the best scent that BA offers!

- "Unscented" actually just means no added fragrance from oils. You will still smell a faint chemical scent that goes away as soon as you apply the balm. - This is the first balm I've found, since leaving Lucky Scruff after they changed the formula, that gives me as much manageability throughout the day. - Hold is strong enough that hairs will stay down and are very manageable throughout the day. - This balm leaves my beard much softer than any balm I've used since using Lucky Scruff and I've experimented with 8 other brands. - Price is great for the product you get. Works as advertised. This is my new daily beard balm. I will purchase different scents going forward.

Let’s start with the positive. It does have a nice scent. Subtle and not too strong. Now for the negatives. There is not much in this product. I have small hands and you can see how tiny the can is. Not much bang for your buck. The next thing is that it has average hold at best. It goes in nicely, does not clump and does not stay sticky or tacky throughout the day. However, there is very little hold to it. If you have a wiry beard like mine, it will not tame it.

I've been growing my beard for just over a month, and I've thought I must have the thirstiest beard ever. I've been using allegedly good beard oil and balm, but I've been going through quite a lot of it just to get through the day without my beard getting brittle and horribly itchy: I've been reapplying oil several times each day feeling like I'm just treading water: not really softening my beard, but keeping it just shy of so irritating that I need to shave it off. But then I got this badass beard wax and one application immediately softened my beard far more than any other product had - and that softness lasted all day. And it doesn't look or feel greasy at all (it absorbs well). I'm ordering more now just so I never run out. I'd agree with other reviews that this doesn't have much hold and really functions more like a conditioning balm than a styling wax as it doesn't have much hold, but that's perfect for me. Note that the ingredients listed here on amazon aren't quite right as the ingredients on the tin include lanolin as the third ingredient: otherwise the ingredients listed on amazon appear correct, just with lanolin inserted between cocoa butter and bees wax. I suspect this lanolin is a big factor in how effective this is.

I found this wax more of a balm in that it stayed "wet" but it did help control a mid length unkept beard.. I will be buying more.

If you are looking to style your beard or tache look elsewhere, this product does not have good hold. The only positive is the fragrance which does smell really nice.

It doesn’t hold as well as advertised unfortunately, but it smells great and is relatively easy to use.

Nice, easy to use and nice smell, quite a hard wax, but not too hard to use, good at holding shape. Would get the extra star if it held a little bit better! But overall worth trying!
