In the past, I have purchased catnip from various superstores as well as a farm store chain. Whereas my cats seemed to enjoy the catnip (you should really see stray cats take to it--so sweet to see them all rolling around on the pavement or in the grass.) So this time I tried a small time grower (it comes in an 8 oz container that you would find chicken salad or pimento cheese spread in). DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE CONTAINER! One of my cats smelled it and grabbed at the container before it had ever been opened! As we were snowed in and experiencing cabin fever, I gave them just a small bit! OMG! They were over the moon! It seemed fresh, green, and a little went a long way! I will definitely buy it again. The kitties loved it. One observation: some cats get aggressive with it. I think it is sensory overload. So start with a small amount, about a teaspoon or two.

Seems to be good quality. I have a catnip ball that pulls apart in the middle so you can fill it with catnip. When I put this in it the kitties perked up - sometimes they really go after it and sometimes ignore it, so I’m not sure if it just loses its potency after a couple days or if I just have strange cats. They do show more interest in this than 2 other brands I tried and they show the most interest in it the first couple days after I refill the ball, which leads me to believe that it’s losing its potency. But it definitely seems fresher than any other brand I’ve tried. And it’s not powdery like other brands so it doesn’t fall out of the holes of the ball and make a mess like other brands.

My cats went crazy for this stuff! You get a large container. Well worth the money.

I've had cats 46 years now and this is the VERY BEST CATNIP. OMG. I have three cats, mother, father, and son all seniors. Usually taste a little of the catnip and get playful. But with this catnip they also ate ever bit of it. If I so much as touch the contain they look at me like "give me more!" I had to put the container on the top of the little bookcase since one of the cats knocked it down. I have felt most brands I got over the years didn't work as well as some I got in the 80s. This surpasses it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This is more than catnip. It’s a miracle worker. Uses: 1. your introducing a kitten to an older cat and they’re not getting along. It gets to the point where you’re not sure if you can keep the kitten. Sprinkle this all over the place and they’ll be best friends. Do not skimp out on the stuff. just start throwing it in the air (hahaha) I didn’t care about the mess. By the end of the night, those two cats were inseparable and wrestling all over the place. 2. Another use: you had two cats and one of them recently passed away and the one that’s left is super depressed. I would again put a very very generous amount of this out and kind of sprinkle it all over the place. 3. Another use: you work full-time, and you feel bad about leaving your cat during the day. Put out at least a quarter cup whether it’s in a pile or sprinkled all over the place. Your cat will be having so much fun that they’re actually glad you left to work! hahaha This catnip is medicinal. If you’re not seeing results, it’s because you’re not using enough. This catnip can actually cure a lot of problems and help cats going through a rough patch.
